The breakfast is in the public restaurant in front of the house and you can get only one piece of croassant. There are only sweets, nothing continental in the restaurant (neither for extra money). In the bathroom there is few showerbath. The reception is open after 9.00 am. (only in the morning) so before that time you couldn't pay for a room and going on.

The location of the house is perfect to walking in Ortigia. It is easy to get the house and easy to go into the room. The owner send us a video how to go into the room. The house is on a nice square, good feeling going home after the little lanes. The parking area at the entrance of the island is ca. 8-10 minutes, but owner could arrange you permisson to drive in until unpacking in case of having more luggage. Room is clean and quiet, beds are comfortable.

I think they could benefit by adding trash bins in the room (besides the one in the bathroom), more comfortable chairs, drinking glasses, and "do not disturb/do not clean signs" for the doors. The walls are very thin, so you can hear everyone in the halls, including the cleaning staff who was gossiping quiet loud. We really wanted a day to sleep in but it was nearly impossible. I would also note for some that it is only stairs (a decent amount to climb) to all rooms. An additional note is that the included breakfast is actually from the cafe on the ground floor (not associated with the B&B) and is quite heavy or very sweet, with no healthy option (think dense pastries or granita). Moreover the writing on the breakfast coupon isn't the most clear so the restaurant staff doesn't seem to understand that the breakfast (option 2) is inclusive of a pastry, coffee, AND juice. They tried saying it was one or the other but we clarified with the hotel staff the next day and it is all three. Oh and our aircon didn't work, but it was thankfully cool enough that we were fine with just opening the window.

Very central location in Ortiga, Siracuse. Even though there is no staff onsite the staff quickly replied and assisted when we had an issue with the lock on our door. Clean rooms.

The shower cabin was small with no space for shampoo bottles, for example. It gets noisy after 8 a.m. in the morning. Some of the staff in the cafè weren't very polite and we needed to explain a couple of times what the breakfast includes - the coupon says salty piece, coffee, orange juice, but the lady in the café said it is either coffee, or orange juice.

We stayed for 3 nights in room 7. Really liked the location - we were in the "heart" of Ortigia and everything was easy to access. The room was very clean and we enjoyed the breakfast which is in the café next to our building entrance.

Unacceptable that you can pay only with cash or bank transfer (both results extra costs for the guests). Nowadays I think accepting cards is a must for everyone. The employees could not do anything - which is okay, as it is a decision made by the company which operates these rooms.

Perfect location within Ortigia, nicely renewed and wooden floor makes homey feeling. The basic breakfast is included in the price but it works well.

We were cold at the first night, but than found an extra blanket. Some glasses would have been handy to drink wine more comfortable.

Staff extremely helpful. We left our bags as we arrived early and found them in our room, up an extra set of stairs, on our return. Most kind. The breakfast is provided at the bar on the street. So, proper Italian coffee and good and a perfect lookout onto the fountain and the via vai of people. Also very clear instructions about how to access the place.

There was no electric jug to boil water . No tea making facilities..No cups or glasses to have a cold drink. No Plates to have a piece of fruit. Also nowhere to hang bath towels. 5

very simple breakfast, very small room.

The room is small, the stairs to get to the room are narrow, the bathroom is also pretty small. It is clean and it is very well located, and the manager who is only a few hours a day is very nice. Breakfast consisted of a Croissant, and a coffe or juice. Very simple.

Room was a lot smaller than what it looked in pictures. We were put in the highest up, on roof and everything was super compact. The rooms showed in photos had nice balconies, but this one had a small and a bit dated terrace on roof, all views were roof tops, nothing else.

It was clean and best of all, the location was fantastic.

I notice a two-three stain outside of the bedsheets The shower was a bit annoying when I tried to change the temperature from cold to hot because or it was too hot or too cold The stairs were too many. We had the apartment on the 3 or 4 floor (I don't remember), but it was the last room in the apartment The price: 51 pounds for each person, a room for 2 people just for one night was a bit expensive There are no owners and not reception

I like the fact that the b&b is located in the city centre with everything you need around I like the concept of being modern and, at the same time, antique The bar downstairs and the staff very friendly, good food and good breakfast
