We rented a room for three people so as not to sleep in the same bed (we are just friends). It turned out that the bed for the third was a sofa, pushed close to the matrimonial bed, so there was no room to pass. There is no kettle in the room - we only got one after asking. There is no place for it near the outlet either; it could only be boiled by placing it on the floor. There is no coffee machine in the room either; you had to ask the owner to make coffee. There is no access to the kitchen, although it is indicated in the description. A breakfast voucher allows you to get coffee and cake in a cafe; there is practically no choice. There were cockroaches in the room. The owner, as it turned out, fights them with home remedies - an aerosol from the supermarket.

We really like the hosts, we got the map, souvenirs and additional bottles of water. We could leave the bags after the checkout. The room was in old style, very comfortable and large. The breakfast was in the near caffe/pizzeria. We recommend this place.

The apartments are comfortable,cosy and got sunlight,with sunblinds,including A/C. The staff were very courteous and helpful, asking for location directions,and especially when I had to borrow a mobile charger. The apartments are adjacent to main road,Via Gelone,(shopping outlets,pharmacies and tavola calda),and 20 minutes walk to Isola Ortigia and Teatro Greco and 5 minutes to the nearest supermarket. The nearest bus stop for the airport bus and others is 5 minutes walk.

The owners are so kind and lovely! we enjoyed our stay in their classic appartement very much, the real Sicilian feeling. We arrived on Catania airport with a severe delay at night, picking up our rental car but that was no issue and the sweet lady stayed up for us until the middle of the night! She had a Sicillian treaty for us and a small gift for our daughter upon departure, heartwarming! Close to the archeological park and 10-15min walk to Ortigia. Breakfast is outside in a typical bar around the corner, which we loved!

Very nice and welcoming people, and we received good advice about places to visit. The room was authentic and clean, air conditioning was working well. We got breakfast in a café next door with a very good selection of delicious pastries and savoury food and excellent coffee. The location is very convenient for visiting the city because is a 10-minute walk from Ortigia, as well as from the Archaeological Park and Museum and Catacombs.

The room was spacious enough for a few days but wouldn't have enough storage space for a long stay for a family of four.

The gentleman who welcomed us was so pleasant and accommodating. He even allowed us to leave our bags after check out, with the keys to the premise do we could explore Syracuse at our Leisure 😊

If anything, we would have to say that the aircon wasn't the best working for cooling the room...
