Fresh towels had smell of sour and also the door in the shower was not as it looked in the pictures (there was half a glass door and a shower curtain).

The owner was nice, the location was good, near the public and secured parking. The bed was hard, just as we like it.

Lovely, big, clean, comfortable room with a small balcony overlooking the main roundabout in Syracuse. Host was very friendly and felt at home. Location very convenient, only a few mins after getting off the bus/train, and only about 10/15 min walk to Oritigia or the Archaelogical Site and Cathedral, much better value than accomodation in Ortigia. Roundabout can be a bit noisy at times if the window is open but overall no issues

A nice kitchen with all facilities needed to cook your own meals, also stacked with free cereals, cakes,coffee, juices, water etc etc. Great location for us to get to Ortigia by foot.

It was a good stay. There were free coffe, tea, yoghurts, buscuits, juices - it was very nice. Good bed. Clean. Nice balcony in the kitchen. The coffee was excellent. I had drunk two, the second one at 21.00 because it was sooo tasty... then I couldnt sleep but my stay in Sicilia was longer thanks to that heh... be careful of mosquitos with your light at night, because it is near to the sea.

It was a convenient accomodation very close to the station and bus terminal, and not too far from Ortigia old city centre. There was coffe, milk, tea, yogurt and biscuits for free, as well as small boxed soft drinks. Thnx!

Overal experience was definitely fine. Contact with the host and remote check-in were flawless - no problem with English on host's side by the way. The location is properly equipped, almost no remarks. For those who grumbled and lamented about the noise - you cannot be in a tourist location, so close to bus and train stations and expect birds to sing among the trees (which by the way did, in a nearby Parco del Foro ;-) ). One look at the map and photos of the window view - and you should know exactly where you are heading... Kitchen with all expected amenities available at all time with free drinks and biscuits. To balance my opinion, there is one thing I agree with which depends on owners only - the mattress was damn hard... Believe me, I have a matress labeled "hard" at home, but it is like marshmallow in comparison... If not for that, I'd give a ten.

I loved my stay here. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but not enough to keep me up. And the wifi in my room was spotty and didn't always work - annoying but not tragic.

This was an excellent place to stay for my visit to Siracusa. The location was perfect - it felt safe, was 5 minutes from the bus station, 10 from Ortiga, and 20 minutes from the Neapolis Archeological park. It was very clean, the facilities were great. The check in was very easy. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. The value was exceptional.

Simple, but very comfortable and clean accommodation. It is next to the train/bus station, so was convenient for my purposes. Close to both Syracusa and Ortigia (Cathedral about 15 mins walk). Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The towels had some stains but were washed.

The windows shut close! There was not a single light shining through. I slept with earplugs so I can’t judge on the noise. The room had a good size. The common kitchen offered snacks and tea. Made a small breakfast possible. Functioning AC! Easy and beautiful walk to the island and inner city. Easy parking as well. Really friendly Staff!

The house entrance had a strong smell of mold. The host took some time to open the door for us, even though we let him know when we would arrive.

The B&B was really central. Every worthy place to visit was 10 to 15 min walking distance. The host was helpful with indications on where to park the car for free.

Overlooks a roundabout, possibly the busiest in Siracusa, so noise could be a problem for some although the windows are pretty good at keeping it down.

Nice room, strangely high ceiling. Comfy bed. Breakfast room (self help). The hosts were accommodating for my slightly later arrival (2145). Near to train station.

This was made clear in the description but location on a busy roundabout did mean traffic noise.

Good location close to train and bus station and midway between the archaeological site and Ortigia. Clean, modern with separate kitchen. Everything we needed for an overnight stay. Nice bakery across the street too!
