No electricity, cold , no blanket, mold

The location was very good, the heating worked well, since the weather was a bit colder at the end of January. The fridge was good as well. I loved the view from the window. Ok price for Taormina.

The duvet didn’t have a cover, the cold was entering through the bathroom so we had to close the door. We didn’t have hot water the first day of the stay and the apartment could be cleaner. It’s called B&B but there was no breakfast, only a plate, a bowl and a kettle. 2€ tourist tax a day per person. But I guess you get what you pay for.

The bed was very creaky like it was about to break

Many stairs.the aircondition wasnt very powerfull.probably needs service.the other room with the extra 2 beds had no heeting.the covers of the bed need difinetelly to buy new ones.

Quite a quiet place and not so far from main attractions.

I got to the property at 6.45pm and no one was there to greet me. Also the room wasn’t cleaned and I had to wait 30 minutes

It wasn’t properly clean. The sheets were smelly and with hairs, like they weren’t changed after the last stay.

Just stay away! Dirty rooms and sheets, when asked for correction, we were offered to do it ourself. The cleaning closted looks like a rubbish dump with even more dirty sheets. Refunds were offered but not processed because they only want to communicate via WhatsApp. They are a fraud who are seeking your money. Stay away

The bed was comfortable.

The AC was dirty as hell, the towels, sheets were dirty. There was no blanket, when I told this to the owner, and asked for one, they said they didnt put the cover up, so i can turn on the hot air..

It is a bed and breakfast but I had no breakfast served for all the time I stayed there

I didn't have hight expectations since I saw the ratings. The good thing is the location, it's really close to center and there's a paid parking (you cannot park in the street) just in front of the place.

We came after a morning flight and wanted to check-in as early as possible. But the host sent us a short message (in Italian, later we realised that this is common in general) that the room would be ready only after 5. This was quite annoying, since we were tired after our flight. So finally after 5 we found 2 keys in a locker (not locked btw) and had to figure out ourselves which was ours (the host didn't bother to reply to message). The room was super simple. Leaking mini fridge, no any kitchen, just an electric kettle, few plates, cups, forks and spoons. The sheets and towels had stains, window blinds are a bit broken and the toilet was leaking. We stayed only one night and I saw what were the prices for other apartments in Taormina. So as I mentioned before, I didn't expect something great. I just need to mention that all the rest appartments that we had in other towns were so much better and cheaper.

Nothing. I chose B&B Iris because it was the closest and only one available to the bus terminal in Taormina and were going to the theatre at night.

We stayed in the room with the view, room 1. Where to start! The room is a fire hazard. The lock is broken, you need to juggle the key and this would be tragic in case of an emergency. The sheets and towels are all stained, the shower curtain is broken, the shower head and tube leaks what are you waiting to replace them.

the location is very good. the room at this price is ok. the big problem is the lack of working air conditioning and no internet..

The view, the position nearby the centre

Bathroom was terribile : if you sneezed the floor will be flooded. Shower is really bad with no possibilities of keeping water inside it. No shampoo or soap provided. Bed not changed, pillow also

DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER GOING THERE While I understand that occasional mishaps can happen, the conditions we encountered during our stay were entirely unacceptable and did not align with the images and descriptions provided in the listing. Upon our arrival, we were dismayed to find that the room would not have been ready for check-in at 14:00. Despite this being the agreed time, the host showed no urgency or interest in preparing the room, which was inconvenient after a long day of travel (and the warm weather in Taormina). Once we were finally able to access the room, we encountered several issues that significantly impacted our stay: 1. The bed sheets were stained 2. The towels provided were dirty and humid 3. The shower head was broken and water pipe bright yellow 4. Stains of humidity were visible in the door frame and on the door itself 5. The door lock was broken and the door was difficult to open and lock. 6. The trash bin had not been emptied before our arrival 7. The water boiler had a crusty bottom 8. The mug provided had what appeared to be rust inside it 9. The cutlery and water kettle were dirty 10. There were very visible white stains on the table, which should have been cleaned prior to our arrival. We chose BnB Iris with the understanding that it was a more affordable option in Taormina, and we were well aware of the high prices in the area. However, regardless of the price, basic hygiene and safety should never be compromised.
