We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

NetherlandsThey were very accomodating. Due to a bus strike, we couldn't get to Amalfi from Sorrento on the day of the reservation. So, they agreed to shift the reservation by 1 day without a fuss! The staff was great, and provided good insights on what to see, and what restaurants to try. Some packaged crossaints, fruit juices, a coffee machine with capuccino, a fridge were available. It's very close to the main square, and you can be there in less than 5 minutes.

If you are planning to go Amalfi, try to only bring necessary luggage. One cabin and a backpack per person is enough. The place meet the expectations, as there's no much hotels at the region our stay was close to the main street, allowing us to reach a good restaurantes by the end of the day. Bathroom was clean and pretty new, there are some few stairs to reach destination but it was already expected.

AustraliaThere are 71 stairs to get to the unit and I am not as young as I used to be. Getting my bag up to the unit was taken care of but getting it out was not and the local porterage service did not appear. I got my bag down but only with a sterling effort on my behalf. If you do not have an issue with stairs and bags then I would totally recommend this place. Very comfortable and handy to lots of restaurants. Great owners.
Loved the property and the owners were very helpful and friendly. The unit was well set up and handy to town facilities. I would recommend for those who are physically capable of getting to and from.

AustraliaThe hotel arranged our shuttle to and from the airport. Issues both ways. When arriving the shuttle driver wasn’t given our name so made it more difficult to find them (after calls with driving company we were able to find the driver). But when leaving, I’m not sure if they forgot to organise (even tho confirming with them 2 days before), I luckily double checked with the driving company who had no booking with us. We were fortunate enough to be able to get a driver 45 minutes after original leaving time which meant we were very pressed for time.
We had a great stay here. Location was just off the Main Street (quiet but so close to everything). Everything was clean and provided amenities. Room was a little small but that’s understandable in a place like Amalfi.

United StatesNo servicing of the room during a 4 night stay, although we finally got more towels after day 3. The bed was like the worst, stiff and uncomfortable. A little better than sleeping on the ground..sore back every morning The shower which didn’t drain well and would back up in minutes also was covered in mold and mildew.. a very unsanitary condition… Having some mobility issues, we inquired in advance of our stay about stairs to the room. They told us only 30 stairs, but in fact it was 55 stairs.. A big disappointment and we were so happy to leave… Your accommodations should not have a negative impact on your vacation, but this place did.
The best part of the stay was when their representative met us at the ferry and showed us to our room, because otherwise you may Never find this place on your own..
