The climb up the hill to get there

The B&B is located on the hillside above Modica Old Town, so the views are pretty stunning from the area. The host is very kind and accomodating, I was about to check in earlier than expected. Car park in front of the building is pretty handy, and you can drive to the old town in around 5 minutes. Strategic location if you want to drive to the surrounding areas, Scicli, Ragusa. Beaches and coast is pretty close drive as well. Single room was efficient, tidy. Breakfast well stocked.

Nothing really, just be aware that the place is quite high. Walking down using the small staircases is feasible and it takes approximately 15 mins, going up longer. Just be aware of Modica's set-up.

The view is absolutely amazing. We even got upgraded to a bigger room with a better view. Make sure you book a room with a balcony. Very clean, parking right in front of the building, generous homemade breakfast. Feels like you‘re eating at your lovely grandma‘s house.

Make sure you get there by car and use google maps (we first got lead to a wrong location), it‘s quite remote. Unfortunately there is no self-check-in (apparently there are some new governmental regulations regarding lock boxes) - maybe an electronic pin code lock would fix that problem

Too bad there is no access to have a better view. Maybe a kettle with a small selection of tea bags would be a nice addition too ... Access is kind of exhausting coming from town but no worries, I knew it from other reviews :)

The owner couldn't speak English but still tried her best when communicating with my poor Spanish.

Single room was poorly ventilated. Mosquito shades over the windows would be good. The road to property is a bit grim to walk up, so it's better to drive.

The location is perfect. Close enough to Modica but far enough to have a great view and easy parking. Very clean. Breakfast was great. The very kind woman who serves breakfast was kind and willing to help with suggestions.

The road below is a popular route for scooters and motorcycles so it can be a bit noisy at times, but usually quiets down by late night.

Fine position commanding a memorable view of Modica; clean and comfortable room and a charming host (originally from Bologna) who supplies a very good breakfast.

No screen on the window and no anti-mosquito device in the room meant a certain measure of misery when attempting to sleep.

The 35 minute walk uphill isnt worth it, & if youre going to pay for taxis you might as well go to a more expensive place. Single rooms don't have balcony, & that's the only reason you'd want to be up here. There are no communal areas to sit, so basically you are shut in your room, & it's like a prison cell. The whole place is dark & musty. The landlady was unhelpful & had little knowledge of local facilities . I speak Italian. The breakfast was covered in flies. I left after one night, although I had paid in advance for 2 (I now understand why she does this!), & found a lovely place - I Tetti di Sicilando, at the same price with the same views.

Single room was like being in a prison cell - nothing to recommend it all.

The B&B has a lovely view overlooking the old city of Modica. It is in a peaceful and somewhat remote part of the town, offering quiet evenings. Comfortable single room which is well-equipped for short stays. Overall a pleasant and comfortable stay for my work conference in Modica.

My only means of commuting was by foot. The accommodation was a little far out from the city centre for me to walk, and made arriving on time in the mornings difficult sometimes (since breakfast was only served from 08:00). If you have a vehicle this will be no problem at all.

Very nice b&b and what a view! Only disadvantage is the long walk down and back up from the town, although worth it for that view

A wonderful B&B with the most beautiful view of the city. The owner was most welcoming and wonderful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Tasty breakfast with many options. Waking up to that view of the city was an absolute dream. It was a pleasure staying there. Highly recommended!

Awesome view, comfortable bed, spacious room, kitchen and very friendly owner. Everything was neatly cleaned, AC worked perfectly and parking is available right in front of the property. The BNB is somewhat older, however is well maintained, clean and lets be fair - you are here for the view and that you will get

The shower could have been a tad bit bigger

The view is absolutely amazing. Even more so than the one most people visit a little downhill. Great to see Modica light up at night too. I walked up, which was quite tough in the heat. But if you're fit and not arriving with too much luggage it should be fine. Arriving by car would be best, of course. The room is a little old fashioned but otherwise very well maintained. Everything was perfectly clean too. The little fridge was nice to have and the air-conditioning worked well. I slept like a baby. Unless you need something modern or cannot make it all the way up I cannot imagine finding better value in Modica. Highly recommended!
