Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. We were surprised to find the room heating in the form of a fireplace with real wood, it was cool. As it was getting cold at nights, this was very helpful. The host Rafaelo was very friendly and hospitable and spoke very good English.

It’s at an elevation of 2,250 feet above Amalfi and the drive or bus ride to Amalfi takes about an hour (5 miles). Scary steep, narrow and winding. Many parts are not wide enough for two vehicles to pass by so people wait and back up. Everyone seems okay with it and is willing to make it work out. We took the bus for 2.20€ each way and it was much better. Buses were very crowded and we had to stand for 20 minutes on one ride. That said, the price is about 25% of similar accommodation lower down the cliff. So huge money savings but 2 hours round trip. We were ok with that since the price and the people were so great. We would return.
The friendly and cooperative hosts. The restaurant attached is excellent and reasonably priced. The family has the accommodation, a brother the restaurant and another brother the horse stable next door which rents horses. Wonderful people, all. Rafaela speaks very good English and the others enough with my limited Italian and google translate we did fine.

Nothing to complain
The owners are a lovely family who manage the flats with high standards. The place is peaceful and the views to the sea are incredible. The organized a dinner at the garden cooking artigianal pasta and pizza, lovely experience.

Everything was awesome
Great location with a great owner hospitality. Raffaele and his wife are very kind and prepared everything in an excellent level for our comfortable stay. They invited us to their private garden and learned us how to make the Italian pizza and let us to make our pizza on our own. The weather was very hot and as soon as he realized we were suffering from the hot weather, he ordered an air condition in a same day and installed in our room which was very appreciated and kind.

Absolutely not the host’s fault but travellers should be aware that buses between Amalfi, Agerola and other nice places along the coast are very infrequent and very busy, quite stressful overall.
The hosts were so lovely and invited us to spend time with their family and cooked for us, definitely exceeded our expectations! ❤️❤️❤️

I honestly have no criticisms, tremendous place for great price.
Incredible location - best view on the entire Amalfi Coast. The Owners were terrific, friendly and welcoming. There is a family history to the B&B and there service went above and beyond. For the price - this was truly a hidden gem, I cannot recommend highly enough from my experience here and I will definitely be returning. The location is also very well connected between Amalfi and Positano.

The only thing is that the wifi didn’t work in our room. But that is a non-issue
Wow. Beyond wow. Rafelle and his family have built the most incredible B&B experience in this little hidden gem of the Amalfi coast. They are the most welcoming and life-loving group of people, and that melts into everything that they have created. If you want a genuine, beautiful italian family experience, you NEED to stay here. I’ve travelled a lot, and I think this is the best place I have ever stayed. Rooms were comfortable and clean, the staff(family) were so pure, and the food in the restaurant below was DELICIOUS and such good value for money. Also the perfect location for people who want to hike Path of the Gods.

We made the rezarvation in few hours before, Rafaelo was very kind and helpful, and also his sister. They have been always availble and also help to arrive the place. The view is amaizing. we dafantly will come back.

At the booking website, I specifically searched for rooms with a sea view. There was the info that this was a room with seaview accordingly but unfortunately there was absolutely no view at all. This was disappointing. We were charged for the breakfast extra 5€/per person.
This is a family-run B&B. The staff was helpful and cheerful. We had a nice chat. The room was very clean, big and comfy. There was a fan for the cooler air. The breakfast was nice.

Too much noise from the restaurant (until 2.30am) and the street (starting at 06.00am). We couldn’t sleep. Won’t come back

We stopped by to sleep over there, and continue our trip in the morning (lot of driving), but around 5am there everyone was up and yelling in the streets. I understand it’s an agricultural household, but still. And it smells a lot like horses everywhere

Wifi wasn’t working in the room but it was fine downstairs. The place is still 10/10.
Amazing hosts & beautiful place. easy access to the bus stop where you can get anywhere you want. 100% recommended.
