Maybe being able to choose the room, staying there three nights, whereas most guests stay one or two nights, but I still enjoyed the (smallest) room. It is a bit like a five stars submarine... need to see it to understand. Grazie Mario & Bettina!

The owners are extremely caring about the guests (this is a couple). They have done that for years and still care. Breakfast is amazing, generous, and with many choices (and you don't have to choose !! can have it all...). There is a fantastic terrace overlooking the castle and the river. As far as the location, well, you cannot live the experience of a medieval village better than this. Trust me, eyes closed, go there, you will not regret. My room was a paramount of silence, but no view.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable room at a great price. The view from the roof terrace is amazing! Delicious breakfast with homemade mandarin jam and cake. The owners were very friendly and kind. Highly recommended!

What a lovely charming romantic BB. The room exceeded all expectations and was extremely comfortable. Our hostess was absolutely wonderful, kind and generous. We had a picnic lunch on a gorgeous rooftop garden with views of the castle and the river. Our breakfast was delicious, with a huge selection beautifully served. We just wished that we could have stayed here longer.

Absolutely nothing. This place is a dream come true!

This is a true gem, the photos barely do it justice. Located at the heart of the old town, we felt right at home with the warm welcome by the host. The house's super cute decor and unique style made it such a memorable stay. Love to return!

Parking was a challenge, wore an eye mask as light entered room early , would be dangerous or impossible to access for people w limited mobility/trouble w stairs (this style of architecture also made it incredibly unique and interesting for the able bodied)

Nothing at all!

We really loved this place. The location is wonderful, in the beautiful old part of Dolceacqua. The apartment had a nice view on the old bridge. We couldn't reach it by car but there are plenty of car parking facilities nearby. The owners are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing! Bettina had something freshly baked each morning and the omelettes are just perfect. I would recommend everyone who goes to Dolceacqua to stay in this unique place.

The property is beautifully furnished and has everything a traveller needs including AC. The owner was very nice, she prepared an excellent breakfast, showed great hospitality and gave us some good tips on where to travel to, and where to eat out.

We had a fan in the bedroom but, with rising summer temperatures in Italy during future summers, air conditioning will become necessary.

Beautiful charming property nestling within the walls of old Dolceaqua. Wonderful views and a delightful varied rooftop breakfast. Very welcoming host who also speaks excellent French. Highly unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems.

It was located perfectly and the building is an amazing family property renovated and looked after by the hosts. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. The bathroom was big and cosy too. We were happy to spend the afternoons relaxing there as it was quite hot outside. We could use the terrace at anytime during the day and take advantage of the views. The breakfast was copious and it was lovely to chat with Bettina and Mario, the hosts.

Everything was great, the whole B&B is beautifully decorated and full of interesting nooks and crannies. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The roof terrace was lovely, as was having breakfast up there in the morning. Bettina and her husband were great hosts. The whole experience of staying there was very individual and we would definitely stay again.
