We had an amazing stay at B&B Monte. The hosts Elena and Alessandro were incredibly kind and helpful, including providing many suggestions for our stay. The room was very comfortable and clean with a lovely attached terrace and a splendid view. Breakfast every morning was fresh and tasty. The B&B is also conveniently located a 5-minute walk from the center of town and the sea, but also very close to many hiking trails that take you to Portofino and Abbazia San Fruttuoso. I hope to return again one day!

We stayed at this charming bed and breakfast for three nights and absolutely loved it. The owners Elena and her Boyfriend are incredibly kind and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed – even assisting us with our luggage. With only two rooms available, the atmosphere is wonderfully intimate and warm, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Everything was spotless, and the rooms are beautifully decorated with antique furniture, giving them a unique and elegant charm. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking – the perfect place to relax and take it all in. It was truly a wonderful stay, and we would be more than happy to return. We were greeted very warmly by Elena, who gave us good tips about traveling to Portofino and Cinque Terre, as well as restaurants in the neighborhood. The city center is close by (10-15 minute walk). The room is comfortable and very clean. Also, the view from the balcony is stunning and the breakfast is great! We had a very pleasant stay.

We had an amazing time! The B&B was super clean, on a quiet hill overlooking the sea and 10 min walking from the sea. And Alessandro is a superb host. He picked us up from the train station, told us the history of the city and provided great suggestions for restaurants and what to do in the city. We had a blast, will come back again.

Super location, spectacular view, the property itself has warmth and charm with a tiny twist of deliberate kitch humour (viz the suit of armour). Lovely breakfasts and just the best hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble and who gave us the best advice on places to eat and things to do. Plus they gave the whole house over to us when it was too rainy to go out! Marvellous!

I’m not a big uphill walker so the first walk back up to the B@B from town was tough. But Alessandro showed us a shortcut with stairs that made it manageable.

We had a shower with no shower head holder, so had to hold it by hand to shower. Our private bathroom area was not in our room but in a room via the small common area hall.

Great location with parking right in front of B&B door (for 3 cars), in a nice and quiet area. Walking distance from Portofino (an hour) and other nice places on the coast nearby. Alessandro, the owner is super nice and helpful. And the breakfast is delicious (croissants, focaccia from a bakery etc.).

Where to star! The host, the house, the location … everything was absolutely amazing! This is a family business, and you can definitely see how Alessandro (the host) put a lot of care, time and effort into making you feel at home. The house is stunning with the most beautiful views of the city. And the breakfast delicious and fresh. If you are looking for quality, this is definitely the place to go! If I come back to the city, I’ll stay again in this place

We were completely shocked by how amazing our stay was - it exceeded our expectations. The owner was very kind, offered us some homemade limoncello at check in, made from lemons out of his garden. The house had an amazing garden and view on the whole city. It was a very quiet neighbourhood. Everything was very clean. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in town.
