How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The owner is very sweet, she helped me to get a taxi to the airport in the modle of the night. Great location- few minutes from the airport and right by the bus stop, so very easy to get to all the attractions basically anytime of the day.

Very cozy place in a convenient location - it is in the middle between the airport and the city of Venice. The host is amazing - Marisa and her husband are very nice people. We had a pleasure to stay in their house 💖

Ideal stay at this lovely home. The host is excellent. The rooms are clean with excellent AC. It is also on a bus route for airport and Venice. Get a 24hour pass to use busses and boats!

Everything was perfect
This B&B was excellent, great location near both Venice and the airport. The couple who ownwd the B&B were very friendly and helpful even taking us to pick up our Hire car from the airport, very very nice couple. Breakfast was good and plenty of choice

Nice b&b located not far from the airport, with easy access to/from Venezia via bus 5 or 15, and hosts were kind enough to prepare breakfast for us earlier than usual due to our early flight.

I have no complaints. They were so sweet and invited me to sit down with them to watch the Giro d'Italia.
This is a sweet little family B&B operated in their home close to the airport. The continental breakfast spread is great.The location is minutes from Marco Polo airport, and if you are looking for dinner, there is a very good pizza place a few blocks away that makes pizza in 3 sizes for any appetite. It is about 15 minutes from the Venice Piazzale Roma bus station. One thing I really loved was waking up and seeing trees and rose bushes out my window and birds singing.

The host is very accommodating. We had a problem booking an uber for our early travel, then the host tried to generously help us and even gave as a free bus ticket as we don’t have cash on hand.

The lovely hosts are an elderly couple and they couldn't speak English but language was never a barrier in communication. Both of them were too sweet and they served fresh breakfast every morning. The location is close to bus stop and could board bus to venezia easily from there

Super apartments, cozy and quiet place with friendfull owners! Breakfast was tasty and fresh. Distance from historical part of Venice is short and take about 15 minutes by bus. I'm really recommend!

The sign outside is very small. Difficult to find. Google coordinates given by Booking was helpful.

The house is very clean and very close to a bus station. The hosts are very nice. They prepared a delicious breakfast and they were ready to help us with anything. It was a very comfortable place to stay and we would definitely choose this place again.
