We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

SlovakiaGreat Whatsapp communication. Clear instructions. Located in inner block, it was super, because night was really quiet and we felt safe. Few minutes to center. Bed and breakfast. Sweet/ salt pastries with coffee included in price. It was actually in near coffee house. We started here every day :) Possibility to sit and enjoy or take away.

GermanyNot enough hooks and mirrors (no full size mirror). We had to sleep with the windows closed because sometimes it was quite noisy outside (but the AC was working fine).
The staff was really helpful and nice and quick to solve any questions. The communication was very smooth and it's clear they're putting their heart into it. (Service 10/10) Super close to the metro station, short walk to the historical city centre. Spacious room.

IsraelThe room smelled really moldy and opening the only window was only possible during the day as it opens straight into the street at a height where passersbyes are practically walking next to your bed. The area doesn't seem very safe or inviting, and the entrance of the keep is straight into the garbage cans, so very smelly. There was a wet stain on one of the walls.
The room was pretty big and the beds were reasonably comfortable. The place is really close to a metro station (although not the central line), and short walking distance to Spanish quarter mayhem and Toledo Rd.

GermanyNo washing machine as advertised in the tags. not sure why its called B&B (Bed and Breakfast but no breakfast?). Miscommunications about work being done in the hotel room (cleaning times were wrong, we had to unnecessarily leave the hotel early to come back to uncleaned room, and another day there was wall repair, we had to go outside for a bit till they were done, which defeated the privacy aspect of having your own room). The door to the room had a handle on both outside and inside, so the key had to be double locked to make sure nobody could just come in, which we only realized 2 days in. Also no kettle which we would have appreciated, and the microwave in the hallway was not working during our stay.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, even with language barrier. Location was very central in the alive part of the city, public transport very close by. Very clean and functional! Owner of hotel is friendly and answers quickly. I like that we had a minifridge, useful when traveling on a budget. Overall still a good vacation and grateful, even with the little problems listed below!
