We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

ItalyRox has a temper and I felt very uncomfortable… I DO NOT recommend this place. My husband and I stayed at B&B Rox e Claudia June 3-6, 2025. On the night of June 5, we got home from dinner and were extremely quiet. We didn’t talk, we tiptoed, and we ensured the door to the room was opened and closed quietly. We began getting ourselves ready for bed: I put on my pajamas and started washing my face and brushing my teeth. My husband wanted to take a quick shower so he put the water on. He noticed there was no water pressure. He whispered to me, “The shower isn’t working.” I took a look, it was true, there was no water pressure. The shower must have been on for 60 seconds at this point when we heard… *BANG BANG BANG* (three loud bangs on the door). My husband shut the shower and looked at me confused, at first not understanding it was a knock on our door. Then we hear it again. He walked up to the door and said, “Who is it?” and nothing was spoken back, only 3 more angry BANGs on the door. My husband repeated, “who is it?” and Rox just shouted, “OPEN UP!” My husband opened up the door and Rox started aggressively screaming “BASTA! FINITO!” [STOP! DONE!] to which my husband said “I…” - he didn’t get to finish that sentence because Rox repeated again (unnecessarily loudly) “BASTA! FINITO!” [STOP! DONE!]. And he begins pointed to the other guests doors and said something to the effect of *there are people here.* That’s when I said “we weren’t making noise though” and he finally gives us an explanation for his unwarranted aggression and said “ENOUGH SHOWERING!” We thought that was odd considering the shower had been on for just 60 seconds - too short of a time before he left his room, walked upstairs, came to our room and knocked on the door, which means it had to have been something else. The sink water perhaps? Were we not allowed to use the sink after a certain time? Nothing like this was told to us or in the listing.

Rox and Claudia have a beautiful house with breath taking views of the mountains. The room was very large, super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding and we even got a tour of the small town afterward by both Rox and Claudia. We can not say enough good things about our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with Rox and Claudia. If we are ever back in Italy, we will definitely make it a point to visit again. 5+ Star Stay!!!!
