Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThere is no elevator, so if there are bags and suitcases to carry, you will have to go up 2 flights of stairs. This was not a problem for us.
Liked the location. Right in the middle of the Spanish quarter, busy, central to everything, walking distance to the metro. Close to shops and a a variety of eateries and restaurants. Apartment included a small kitchenette and had ample breakfast items. Hosts were very friendly, eager to help and made us feel at home right away.

CroatiaWe did not mind anything but it is good to know: 2nd floor without elevator, a bit uphill from Via Toledo. It is not classic B&B, it us an apartment with stocked mini fridge, you prepare breafast yourself. Building and the apartment itself are not fancy. We knew all that in advance..
Fantastic location: Spanish quarter, walkable to most of the sights in Naples, restaurants and bars. 5 min walk to Toledo metro station, 15 min walk to the port (ferries, excursions), airport bus and bus to Pompei. Small grocery shop just across the street, supermarket cliose to Toledo metro. Hosts: fabolous, friendly, ready to assist if needed. They live in the apartment next door. Very clean and well equipped apartment: 1 room, small kitchen and a bathroom with bidet. Great WiFi, TV, Netflix, air condition. No balcony, big door window. Breakfsst:: stocked with sausage, mortadella, ham, toast cheese, butter, Nutella, jam, coffee, tea, milk, toast, some sweets. They refill it upon request.

Perfect location, walking distance to centre and port, very close to shops, restaurants and Metro station (Toledo) right in heart of Spanish Quarter. Amazing hosts, Francesca and Ciro, who recommended great places to eat, sorted us out with swimwear for a trip to Ischia thermal baths and arranged for a taxi to the airport at 4.15am. Cannot recommend enough.

United KingdomWe loved everything about this place!
The apartment was super comfortable, excellent value, and right in the thick of Naples! Breakfast was great, air con was much appreciated, and it was wonderful to have Francesca nearby in case we needed anything. The place is old-school Naples - genuinely warm and oddball.

IsraelThe place is very comfortable for healthy and fit people, who can walk. The place is located, 5 minutes walking up the hill from the main Toledo street. The apartment is on the 2nd floor of the building. There is no lift in the building, so it is not suitable for people in wheelchairs.
Breakfast was self-service. The refrigerator was full of food items that were necessary to prepare breakfast such as fresh eggs, several types of sausages, yellow cheese, etc. On the shelf above the refrigerator were croissants, bread, biscuits, various spreads, cornflakes, etc. Supply of large bottles of mineral water, excellent tea, and coffee, with a dedicated coffee pot. We stayed at Ruffo B&B for 5 nights. The fridge and the various groceries outside the fridge were filled with all the groceries once again during our stay, so there was always enough food for our apartment. We had to go to Naples airport at 3:30 in the morning. We asked for Francesca's help in ordering a taxi. Francesca and her husband were so generous that they booked the taxi for us and stayed up until the taxi arrived to make sure we didn't miss our early morning ride to the airport. We received many recommendations from them on where to eat and what to see, already on the first day. It's always nice to get tips from locals. Francesca, her sons, and her husband went out of their way to make it comfortable and pleasant for us to stay at their house, so we felt at home :-)

FranceThe real Napoli apartment with sincere and caring host Francesca. I stayed with two of my friends, she basically treated us as his own sons and did everything to make us feel like at home. Also shared good tips regarding locations(beaches, restaurants etc.) that are mostly known by locals. Also, it is a good idea to share your plans with them as they are being very helpful. The location is perfect for visiting Napoli and also the nearby beaches, towns, cities as it is walking distance to everywhere: port, metro, bus stops, restaurants, historical part of the cities. It is basically 1 bedroom house with everything that you may need at home. I would say for price-performance-overall experience was above satisfactory for us.

The room is in a great location and the owners are amazingly sweet and generous! After hearing that one of us is vegan, they bought some vegan products that we never expected them to buy and went to extremes to make us feel at home. The apartment was equipped with everything needed for a short vacation Neapolitan style. Wonderful!

RomaniaEverything was amazing. The location was perfect for visiting via Toledo, 3 minutes from the metro station, the place was extremely clean, with everything you need for toiletries and breakfast. The host, Francesca, was an amazing person and she even welcomed us with a message translated in our language. It may be a bit uncomfortable during weekends if you are a light sleeper because of the noise, but you are in the center on Naples, don’t expect still quite anywhere. I recommend it 100% to anyone.

If you would like to experience the real Napoli and real Napoletani, this is a perfect place for you! The location is central, in quartieri Spagnoli, where there are numerous restaurants, little local shops, pizzerias, everything you need for the perfect, authebtic stay in Napoli. Spaccanapoli is less than 10 minutes walk. The metro station Toledo is few minutes walk distance. The surrounding could be a little noisy, but when you close the windows you don't hear it much because the b&b is high enough. It is very well equipped, there is everything for self hygiene that you can imagine! There are 2 moka machines, coffee, sugar, various kinds of tea, stove and microwave so you can also cook there if needed. It is decorated in traditional style and perfectly clean. The hosts Francesca and Ciro are so nice and treat you like a family member. They offer you numerous advices on everything you need for a perfect stay in Napoli. Could not recommend this place more and would definitely come back!
