The bed was quite worn. Could maybe use a new mattress. The breakfast was supposed to be included but we had to pay 4 euros per person for a gluten free option per morning.

Parking is very difficult/impossible in the center so we had to park in the parking at the beginning of the island ( Talete ) which did not feel safe at all. It is not really our hosts fault but I put it here for anyone planning to come by driving!

The apartment was clean and well equipped, check in was easy will all the informations given in advance. The location is perfect, right in the center! On check out day we were allowed to leave our bags in the apartment until we were done visiting, that was nice too!

Once we got used to the keys and card it was good. I think a WhatsApp message just prior to arrival would help as we couldn't find the room again after our evening meal lol. Maybe a sign or plaque at the door entrance on the 2nd floor would help?

The local cafe breakfasts were great. Massive filled croissants. You need the local car parking reserved which was very good. They drive up down the ramp for you.

We never met anyone, it was a bit strange and I cannot know how quiet it is if there are other people in the flat. The living room is in common with other rooms, so you don't know what you can use and where you can leave your things (rooms' numbers in the fridge could help), and nothing to cook is provided. The breakfast coupon is a nice thing, but the options were very limited even if the bakery has plenty of things to eat. Mattress and pillows not very comfortable. In the area for the same price is possible to get a little flat. When you go to the living room you have to switch on the light from your room... maybe photocell could simplify things a bit.

Very easy check-in, we spoke at the phone, I entered in one minute. Owner very easy to contact and always responsive. All the house was clean and quiet. Very fast wifi. Coupon breakfast in a bakery close to the B&B, so you don't need to say at what time you have want to have breakfast. Perfect position, and plenty of cats just in front of the house.

Excellent location, good value, included small breakfast at nearby cafe. Found free parking every day in open lot right in front, only night it was difficult was Saturday . B&B is 3 bedrooms with private baths that share an apartment including kitchen and laundry.

The soundproof it's like inexistant. You cam hear people talking on the street, and also the neighbours. In addition the system that permits you to enter in the apartament/room is very loud, the noise it's imbearable in the morning.There's no parking spot nearby, you have to park in the big public parking, but there are 10min walk from the parking to the B&B ,so it's OK.

The location it's very good. Close to main objectives on the small Ortigia. Very clean and newly decorate ld and renovated. The easy acces by card and from distance. The breakfast at the Pastry shop was very nice and appreciated.

The check-in process was really easy, allowing us to come when we wanted to. The room is part of a flat with a few rooms with a common kitchen and hallway. We didn't hear anyone else, so I assume good sound proofing. It was spotlessly clean, comfy bed and aircon. The location is also very central right near the duomo in a quite piazza.

No staff - all communication was via WhatsApp With regards to apartment, located on 2nd floor of building - very basic toiletries - worn out towels - 2 horrible pillows, no additional pillows available in the room - worn out bed sheets and cover - matterass was old and not comfortable - no lighting in the main hallway of the building as we were going out or returning at night, making it unsafe to see stairs or people coming up/down - no services included - shower head is rusty and needed to be changed.

We filtered for "Parking" (which is also listed as first property highlight at the time of writing) and discovered on the day we arrived that in fact the property has no dedicated parking, one must book well in advance to get a spot in a nearby garage; we ended up paying 30€ (an additional 15% on the price of the booking) for public parking very far away from the B&B. I checked again and "Parking" is listed as a highlight on multiple places on the property's page on the website, and this ridiculous (if not deceitful) technicality is mentioned only once after a good amount of scrolling down. While this may be more an issue with booking.com for allowing this, a property should not list "Parking" as a highlight if it has no parking but relies on totally unrelated public parking somewhere else. The included "good" breakfast is a card to walk to a bar not exactly adjacent to the B&B, which also featured possibly the worst breakfast we had on our whole 2-week trip through Sicily.

Fabio was helpful and responded quickly. The location is definitely great, and even if inside the ZTL zone, Fabio communicated our licence plate to the authorities to be able to drive to the B&B. Rooms / toilets / shared kitchen and living space are very good.

The mattresses were not of very high quality, and therefore not very comfortable. We would recommend to replace them. We booked in this place mainly for the kitchen which we saw in the pictures on Booking but upon arrival we were told that according to Italian legislation it was not possible to use it. We did not experience the same in other B&B in italy. If this is the case though we would recommend removing the kitchen pictures from the overview of the flat, otherwise it can be misleading. We had a room without balcony and there was no way to hang wet towels etc to dry expect for a hanger ina dark room without window. Being it a place by the sea, it was a bit annoying. Could be resolved easily.

The place is very loud. All the doors buz, when upstairs neighbour got up at 630am,everything could be heard. There's no staff, breakfast is a voucher to a nearby bakery for coffee and croissant. I don't recommend this place

Towels could be slightly larger- but that's me really trying to find a problem.....it was a wonderful, wonderful place don't hesitate in choosing here if you want a peaceful stay in the most central location. There is a private car park on the adjacent road and the piazza duomo is 2 mins away. Amazing!

Arrived early and host let us in early as room was almost done- lovely apartment in a quiet square in the middle of Ortigia. Excellent shared kitchen facilities if you need them. Incredibly clean and bed was so comfy! Exceptional air con and fan, lovely touch to include coupons to the local bakery for breakfast! Super tasty!

No breakfast in the B&B, we had to go to a backery for one piece of pastry and one coffee (no tea). No more than that. A lot of noise of the room next door and from outside (construction work at Midnight???). The hot water broke, the cleaning service was there, but told us to solve it ourselves with the host. Never seen the host, everything by WhatsApp. Stains on the sheets.
