Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesI will never forget this special stay. Antonio is the kind of host who truly goes above and beyond! He spoiled my father & I from the moment we arrived, treating us like family and making sure we had everything we needed. His recommendations were fantastic, and every morning, he prepared an incredible breakfast that made us feel so at home. We felt so spoiled!!! The B&B itself is absolutely beautiful. It is extremely clean, comfortable, tranquil, and thoughtfully designed. It’s a tranquil and quaint stay & I always felt completely safe. Every detail made the stay memorable, and I can’t wait to come back. I’ll always recommend this place to anyone seeking to visit beyond the beaten path. Rare wines, olive oils, and special B&Bs here. Not something you want to miss. Antonio, thank you for such a wonderful stay. It has been the highlight of my father/daughter trip. Our new favorite place is Taurasi, Italy because of this special place.

Worth the trip to see the area. Ate at a delicious restaurant in town too, Nonna Ionna. Visit the castle and museum and tasting room

United StatesFor us as Americans, the beds are a bit too hard but that's every hotel in Italy .
Our second stay here at b&b Antiche Dimore Taurasi. Antonio, The owner, is wonderful. He takes great pride in his property and in the small village of Taurasi. Every time we visit the vineyards and the area we stay here. Antonio ensures that foreigners definitely get a flavor for the village and of this part of Italy. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

BelgiumThe welcome, the host Antonio, his personal touch, guide in his cantina, he met us for a walk in the old part of the city, and arranged a wine and food tasting for us 👍 the room is all you need with nice antiquities, the Village of Taurasi and location is absolute top, parking in front of the house. United StatesThe thing that we didn’t like was that we had to leave.
We selected Antiche Dimore Taurasi because it is conveniently located near our family farm and found it fresh, charming, comfortable and a place to relax. During the reservation process I had expressed interest in the wines of the area and upon arrival Antonio had several extraordinary events planned. Antonio introduced us to the historical and cultural depth of the area. The quality of our stay is reflective of Antonio’s meticulous care and attention to every detail of the decor, food, comfort and staffing ! Antonio and Maria and the entire staff made this visit truly magical.

United StatesWe loved everything!
Antonio Buono made Taurasi a highlight of our travels! We were greeted with a bottle of spumante & allowed to check in early to clean, spacious accommodations in a medieval town. A delicious breakfast of our choosing- croissants, fresh fruit & cappuccino was served in his beautiful cellar. Antonio was the consummate host sharing his passion for wine growing & cultural heritage with a private tour of the vineyards, the nearby castle & lunch reservations with regional dishes. Maria was gracious in assisting Antonio and accompanying us to translate.

Antonio, the host, went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable and memorable! He treated us like family. We can’t thank Antonio for all the recommendations of wineries, restaurants and places to tour. One restaurant was so enjoyable, we returned the next night. Antonio personally arranged these tours with friendly staff who went out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Maria was our translator who came with us to the winery and she also prepared the delicious breakfast each morning. You couldn’t ask for a better stay or better people to guide you through Taurasi. Our trip to Taurasi was the best part of our visit to Italy! I highly recommend to make this your stop whenever you visit Italy. You’ll need a car to get there and we plan to take our family next time we visit Italy. Thank you, Antonio and Maria, for your generous and unforgettable hospitality!!

United StatesHands down, the best stay we have experienced in all of Italia! If you've read other reviews, you know of Antonio who's love and pride for southern Italy shines brightly. He attended to every detail to ensure our stay was everything it could be, from tips and information on touring the area, phoning ahead for restaurant accommodations, and even set up a meeting for me in a nearby town at the municipal office to research my genealogy. He is genuinely caring and interested in his guests having their expectations exceeded. From the moment we arrived to bells ringing to welcome us to Taurasi, we were treated like royalty! The room, bed, and linens were very comfortable. Each morning we were treated to a wonderful Italian breakfast in the astonishingly lovely wine cellar by candlelight! Antonio and his staff served beautiful pastries, yogurts, juices, and coffee of our choice. The town of Taurasi is such a special place with it's beautiful streets, a castle, and surrounded by vineyards and olive groves in the countryside. We will definitely return to Taurasi and to Antiche Dimore and highly recommend this fabulous B&B!

United StatesWe had a destination wedding at a local vineyard near Taurasi. We contacted Antonio early on to book multiple rooms for us and guests. He was fantastic! He doesn't t speak English, so he had his very sweet friend Maria contact us to help us plan. I didn't know exactly how many rooms we would need and they were very flexible with our situation. They gave us a beautiful room. They made sure I had a place to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day. They were very accommodating. I was very busy and stressed, but he loved telling our guests about the beautiful town of Taurasi. He set up tours for our guests. He even gave us sparkling wine to celebrate our wedding day. I do wish I had my parents stay there because they would have appreciated Antonio and all the wonderful information he gave. He is a wonderful and generous host. I would definitely recommend this bnb.
