If you are looking for a place in the heart of Taormina with super nice hosts and extraordinary rooftop breakfast with views of Etna, sea and old town - look no further. This is the perfect spot. Whole place is super clean and Alex and her husband are always at your disposal for any help. The best part of our stay were friendliness of the hosts and morning breakfast on the rooftop. As mentioned in the reviews, keep in mind several things: Place is quite small with limited room if you have lot of baggage. Bed is on the shorter side. If you are above 180cm your feet will hang off of it :) There is live music underneath bedroom window, so you wont get any sleep before midnight until it stops. All in all, would recommend and would come back.

Fantastic location and fabulous hosts. Alessandra and Federico were very informative and extremely helpful with all aspects of our trip, even before arrival! The rooftop breakfast is a great way start to the day. We couldn’t recommend this place enough, a great option for your stay in Toarmina.

Alessandra was very open and clear that there was loud music from the adjacent bar-restaurant until midnight, and we decided to book anyway.... but it was a bit of a nuisance. Closing the window and putting in ear plugs does not sort it: the best thing is to enjoy Taormina night life and not try to sleep until after midnight.

An excellent small B&B right in the heart of fashionable Taormina. The accommodation comprises an old narrow building which has been fully modernised. We had an entire floor to ourselves, comprising a bedroom, separate bathroom, and a covered terrace room with table and chairs. The owners - Alessandra and Federico - are excellent hosts - not only helpful with respect to information, and serving an excellent breakfast, but are good conversational company. Everywhere in the centre of Taormina is only a few minutes walk away. Good value for money, highly recommended.

Being as it’s on a small piazza the energy of the nightlife can get a bit loud causing you to have to close the window and use the air conditioning.

The location is perfect. Our room delightful. Home made breakfast up on the roof was the best way to start your day. It has a breathtaking view. Our hosts, Alessandra and Fredericko are so sweet and helpful.

Best accommodation I’ve ever experienced. I did a solo trip to Sicily with my first stop in Taormina, and the warm welcome I experienced from both Alessandra and Federico was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. I was greeted with open arms and espresso (of course), alongside several local tips for restaurants, pastry shops, beaches, and activities. The hosts and I became great friends and shared breakfast together on their stunning rooftop overlooking the sea each morning. I left with not only an incredible accommodation experience, but new friends. 10/10 recommend !!

We had the most wonderful stay at Alessandra & Federico's beautiful house, right in the centre of Taormina. From the first moment, we knew we were in for a treat, the hosts went above and beyond to ensure an incredible experience, offering plenty of tips and recommendations to explore the city. We didn’t want to leave

Where do I start , on arrival our hosts Alessandro and Federico were just so lovely , they just felt like family. The apartment is very unique with amazing views. Breakfast was superb , the location superb.We loved our little chats at breakfast with lots of information given about Taormina. Everything about our stay was truly wonderful and I would thoroughly recommend B&B Varò Taormina.

Ale and Fede were great hosts and made us feel so welcome. Great attention to detail and they go above and beyond your needs. The rooms were clean and cosy with a beautiful terrace for breakfast with views of the whole of Taormina. This is a must stay!

The hosts Alessandra and Federico were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with warm smiles (and fresh water). They also provided excellent recommendations for nearby beaches and dining spots. The noise from the bar next door was a little annoying, but finished by about 12:30 am. We were aware of the noise when making the booking, so this is not a criticism of the hosts or the home, just something to be aware of. On the second night we decided to just go down to the bar, as they say; "If you can't beat them, join them!"

The location is right in the heart of the city. The breakfast provided had many options and is served at a reasonable hour with stunning views from the rooftop. Our hosts were amazing, super friendly and helpful, very lovely people. The place itself if very interesting and unique. The house is built on a very small floor plan, and as such, has been designed in very creative ways. Would definitely stay here again!

B&B Varo is fabulous in every way. The location is excellent with the most magnificent views from the rooftop terrace. Close to restaurants, cafes, bars, laundromat, places of interest, the castle and transport options to the beaches and other towns. But most importantly, our hosts, Alex and Federico, were just wonderful - so welcoming and kind. Their suggestions about things to do, places to eat etc were so helpful. They genuinely wanted us to love and enjoy all that Taormina had to offer - and we did!

Alessandra and Frederico were excellent hosts. They provided a lot of information a great breakfast every morning.. the property was centrally located easy to get around by walking. The accommodation was clean and organised.. highly recommend to all visitors considering Torina
