Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Excellent location for an overnight stay after flying to Brindisi. Collected and dropped off at sirport following day by host, breakfast at a convenient time for us very spotless and so helpful.

Lovely host who met us at airport and took us back to the B&B, then took us to a pizza restaurant, dropped us off and then picked us up again when we had eaten. The following day he then took us back to the airport and was very kind and flexible when our plans changed slightly. So nice to have a simple breakfast served well and with Earl Grey tea for the non-coffee drinker. The garden and patio area are a treat so close to the airport. Definitely recommended and thanks so much Antonello.

The host Antonello is fantastic. So friendly, help and breakfast was lovely. We only stayed for one night and needed accommodation close to the airport - this was perfect Lovely breakfast and coffee to start the day too.

I wouldn’t change a thing.
I am from the USA. I was traveling back home because my husband had a medical emergency. The fact that Antonello spoke English was such a relief. He was SO courteous. He fixed a lovely breakfast very early in the morning. Then he drove me to the airport. His kindness meant so much to me.

The bed could use a softer mattress. And while our room had its own private bathroom you had to go into the hallway to get to it.
Tony was an outstanding host! Really, he was about the friendliest, most helpful host we have ever encountered. He was kind enough to drive us to the airport at 4:30 in the morning as we had a 6:30 AM flight! This is a small 2 room B&B. I highly recommend the B&B and Tony. And the B&B is only about 5 minutes from the Brindisi airport, And only 5 or 10 minutes from the Old Town of Brindisi.

The host was the most helpful and friendly we have ever encountered. Picked us up from the airport when our hire car wasn't available and did his best to try and sort out a refund or alternative for us.

I will start with Tony, who went out of his way to help me with my delayed baggage. He is the friendliest most helpful guy, I am talking next-level nice and helpful. The room was great, very clean. Nice garden, nice balcony, great coffee

Everything was OK
Antonello, the owner, is a very professional, kind, friendly and helpful owner - absolutely everything was perfect! He gave great recommendations for Bridnisi (restaurants, communications, ferry(boat)...) and around the area and Salento. Very welcoming, great prima colazione before we left at 4:30 a.m.! We will come back when in Salento.

The best host on our trip. We received an incredibly warm welcome and were allowed to share in his wealth of national and international experience. If we come to Brindisi again, then definitely here again!

the details said we would get a King bed but we got two twin beds put together, which is different from what we signed for and not comfortable. the bathroom is exterior to the bedroom, so you have to keep coming in and out of the room which means you will likely run into other guests. the B&B would benefit a lot of a fob system so that guests can come in and out at their own will. right now, if you get there at 4 in the morning the host will wake up and open the door for you, which is wonderfully nice of him but at the same time can be uncomfortable when you do not want to disturb others.
the room was spacious and the backyard as well as the balcony were very nice. the distance to the airport is perfect. the host is courteous and very welcoming !
