Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyMy guests had to ask for a fan. The room window was closed when they arrived in the evening and it was very hot. They said the matrimonial bed was fine but the mattress on the twin bed was very thin and uncomfortable.
Perfect location. Beautiful interior and very nice breakfast/coffee dining room

PolandWe really enjoyed our stay here. Elegant and authentic old world Italian charm, in the centre of a stunning medieval village. Spacious, clean and comfortable. The shops and restaurants are within minutes’ walk. It would make a great base to explore the area. The host is fantastic; communication was excellent, checking in and out very easy. I would definitely stay here again and thoroughly recommend it.

United StatesThe hotel itself is fantastically beautiful! The staff were very friendly and helped with restaurant recommendations and things to see. We were there during a special event for the town and they made sure we were still able to comfortably get to the free parking. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and the WIFI coverage was strong enough that we could do video calls with family showing off our room and bathroom! Everything was perfect!

United StatesOn this point, I have no comment.
All stated in the selections. Excellent welcome at arrival, attention and communication for the stay. The ambiance was perfect as was all the creature comforts. Location was key and everything we did was in a good walkable day. The only shortfall, we had but one day to stay. Would have enjoyed more at this facility.

United KingdomThe room gives onto the main street, so there was some noise in the early morning (glass recycling!) which woke me up. Also I think the listing should be clear that this is not a typical B&B as there is no breakfast, just a selection of biscuits and tea/coffee to make yourself in the morning.
This a very beautiful former priests' house in the centre of Amelia, with elegant features. Our room was - I think - the biggest, and was huge and beautifully decorated, with a newly renovated bathroom. Patrizia and her daughter are warm, and friendly and extremely helpful with local recommendations, early check out etc. They have done an amazing job decorating the property.

United KingdomThere was honestly nothing wrong and we will revisit this property.
We were made to feel very welcome and our host was so kind and helpful and concerned we were comfortable and happy. We were greeted with smiles and very efficient to ensure we had a car parking space right by the front door as possible. Loved the building and surrounding area and the friendliness from everyone. So clean and slept extremely well. Nothing was a problem and the host was helpful in finding us secure parking while we were visiting Rome.

ItalyNothing not to like - as long as you understand you will be in an old, but beautiful and immaculately clean, house in an old and charming hill-town.
This was the second large, very old palazzo/grand house I had stayed in within a few weeks; however, unlike the one I had stayed in previously (in a hill town nearby), this house does not have dark, shadowy vibes - given I was the only guest (as I had been in the other house). As others have written, Mu Ni is in the very centre of the old town of Amelia (a beautiful, ancient town) and, even though I guess it may be noisy in the summer, the sound of people in the street below did not bother me at all and the views of the little square and the beautiful old church right opposite are just lovely. Patrizia is a wonderfully friendly and warm person; I had to call her when I arrived to be given the keys. She arrived, apologetic, in no more than 2 minutes. A month or so ago, in another town north of here, I was kept waiting 30 minutes - so, Patrizia is a careful and courteous host. I had asked for a room with a lot of light, and was given a beautiful corner room almost as big as the tiny house I live in; the bathroom was sensational and the shower - hot water was truly hot, and quick to arrive. The bed was not so comfortable, or not for me; however, with a beautiful room, a kind host - spraying the bed with lavender - and in a sweet little town, who can complain? Parking can be tricky - despite the blithe assurances of other guests; I could not park outside in the square. However, if you head over towards the post office (around the corner of the square on the right-hand side, down a tiny alleyway - which you will fit down if you are not driving a truck - and beyond the area outside the post office), there is free parking. If you arrive at the right time and are gone by the morning. There is a fantastic little caffe around the corner: Caffe Russo. Best cornetto alla crema I have had in Italy so far, and that's saying something as the Italians - people tend to notice - are pretty good with food! I would happily return and I am - in a few days time. Grazie Patrizia.

CanadaI visit this wondrous palazzo time and time again. It is the essence of Italy - Timeless design, well thought out comfort, walkable location, warm and welcoming staff. Patrizia, the owner, is a beautiful force of nature, greeting guests personally, provisioning the linen cupboards with exquisite vintage pieces, and filling the rooms with tasteful and cozy furnishings. This property is a must on your visit to Umbria.
