The bathroom was a little small for a large person, but I managed! The fact that there is no lift may be a problem for some of your guests, especially if their room is in n the top floor as mine was.

The warm welcome, the friendly and polite staff, the tastefully decorated hotel and room and the generous breakfast. Last but not least, the perfect location right in the centre of the city. I couldn’t have asked for more.

The floors in the room and bathroom could be cleaner, they weren't dirty as such, just not swept or hoovered.

This is a beautifully restored house, very tastefully decorated. It's location could not be better, very central. Breakfast was really very good, big selection of sweet and savoury.

The rooms are up flights of stairs, which could be a problem for some if you have heavy bags to carry, (I was aware of this when booking) although the guy who met us did carry one of our bags for us, which was very helpful

Everything was good, but be aware if you have heavy cases then the rooms are all up at least one flight of stairs, so be prepared for that

The location was excellent for exploring Arezzo and not too far from the train station (about 15 minutes walk) The breakfast was good and plentiful, the property had character and was clean and comfortable and a reasonable price. The guy who met us was polite and friendly and carried one of our cases up to the room as we were on the second floor

No elevator (and stairs are what you would expect in a building that is centuries old); luckily help was given carrying up luggage to the top floor!

We were made to feel very welcome. Though we were only staying for one night it would be perfect for a longer stay. Fabulous breakfast in the morning sitting in front of the wood burning stove. Highly recommend.

The hotel has a perfect location very close to all the histotrical buildings, museums and restaurants. The host gave us a friendly welcome and was helpful. We liked the decoration of our room with a good mix of historical and modern. Everything was very clean, the bed very comfortable. The shower was very good. Breakfast was nice with set prepared plates for each person with freshly cut fruit, muesli, yoghurt, cakes, cheese, ham, marmelade. We would happily stay in this hotel again when we sometimes visit Arezzo a second time.

The property is perfectly located to get around the center of town. The breakfast was scrumptious. There was more than enough to eat and several things to choose from. The best breakfast I have had. The room was characteristically old with thick walls and rough worn old stairs.

Friendly, helpful welcome from staff. Really lovely room, handy to attractions but quiet at night. Great breakfast. They let us leave our bags. This was the best place in over three weeks of travelling. High recommendation.

Loved it all! The only thing I could comment on negatively would be that the room was a little dark - but it’s a building that is hundreds of years old so it’s hardly surprising it has small windows and overall it added to the cosy feel.

Fantastic location with easy access to the major historical sites of interest, great bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was amazing - great quality food, large variety - more than we could eat! Great coffee too! We could get through

It was very clean, nice crisp white sheets. The staff were all very friendly and extra accommodating, from finding us an iron, serving breakfast, holding our luggage and getting us the ZTL pass. Breakfast was plentiful and served downstairs. We had a room only up one set of steps, so that was extra nice. The building was very interesting with some before the renovation photos which showed how sad it was, but now it seems brought back to life! The a/c was a lifesaver during our stay and it worked perfectly.

The hallway was quite noisy as the stairway was narrow so there was a lot of echo from the other guests. Some insulation around the doors would be great, as people kept slamming them when going in and out and woke us up a few times.

Very good renovation of a historical building in an amazing location, in the heart of the old center in Arezzo, at walking distance from everything you'd like to see. Good breakfast, not super-varied, a pre-made plate but very tasty and fresh. Very nice staff, very friendly. Great bed and pillows, we had an amazing night sleep!
