There was no kettle provided, no cutlery at all but only 2 paper cups - even though the title of the accomodation was Bed and Breakfast Elegance

Some of the things in the apartment were broken. Breakfast wasn't provided. When I asked the owner about it, he said that there is no breakfast, but we will not be asked to pay tourist tax (so I guess it's a discount for the absence of breakfast) - which worked for me. Not many dishes in the kitchen. It would be difficult to cook/eat there. Gladly Bologna has good restaurants.

The location is good - walking distance to the central square. The stayed in a upstairs suite - the apartment was spacious, one of the rooms had an air conditioner. The bathroom looked clean.

Coffee supplied was fine but not in great supply. only 2 pods for 2 people over 2 days. There was not any tea. Disappointing that there was not any breakfast at all on Sunday when cafe downstairs closed.

Jerome the agent - very friendly / good ..spoke English! The view towards city centre was great ..the balcony good. Very pleasant person in cafe downstairs for ( v small ! ) breakfast on Saturday. Bologna very interesting and architecturally beautiful city.

I booked a small room and got exactly that. I would not recommend this room type, but the larger 'regular' rooms look very nice. It is unclear what level of cleaning is offered - daily, every 2 days, weekly? I stayed for 4 nights and room was never cleaned.

Many miscommunications - On arrival to the property I couldn’t get into the building, nobody was answering the buzzer and the owner wasn’t answering the phone. I managed to get into the building following some others. When I arrived outside the b&b (which was an apartment converted into studios) I came across two males who worked at the property, who then told me I did not have a booking here and wouldn’t allow me inside the b&b. I tried to contact the owner again with no answer. One of them then came out to me with a phone and passed it to me, to which I spoke to who was the owner? Telling me to wait 20mins and he would be there. 45mins later he arrived to check me in. Prior, I did tell this person I would be arriving for 14:30 check in. The owner was pleasant. However, whilst checking me in he wanted me to cancel my booking. This way I would avoid city tax? Unsure how it would work but he stated it would be beneficial for himself if I did so. I did not do this and completed my check in I can’t say I felt extremely safe as a solo female traveller at this property. It was very loud and during the evening I was so shocked when I had a very aggressive knock on my door. To which when I opened the my door, the b&b entrance door was just left wide open and not locked. I also had people attempting to enter my room by trying to open my door during my first night. Thankfully I did not experience this on my second night at the property. I was only here two nights, but I wouldn’t recommend this “b&b” if you are a solo traveller

Walls were paper thin and I could hear conversations in other rooms very late at night hours of the morning as the woman next door was on the phone and loud. No staff on duty to turn to.

Location was excellent, only about 10 minutes walk from Bologna Station. Room was clean and comfortable bed. Host was friendly and explained everything to me.

It was very loud from the outside traffic, even with the windows shut. It's quit difficult to get some rest because of the noise, even in the night. The smell in the room, especially in the bathroom was not pleasent at all.

The accomodation is right above to the main ring road and the road noise makes its way up to the windows, so not ideal for light sleepers (I am not a light sleeper so it was ok). Wi-fi was a little bit intermittent at times, but worked well enough in general.

Located just above a cafe which makes for an easy breakfast. About a 15 minute walk straight into the centre of the city and about 15 minutes to walk from bologna centrale (or there is a bus direct from the station which stops nearby). Large and comfortable bed, clean room; towels, soap and shower gel and hairdryer provided. Air conditioning worked well and the lift up to the fourth floor was helpful when travelling with cases.

Some parts of the room looked like it was under construction. There was an old stairwell in the kitchen that was blocked off by some thin wood paneling.

At first, we were caught off guard because it wasn’t like a standard hotel. However, it had a home like feel we enjoyed.

Too noisy! The staff was hardly ever there so bells were ringing and a few had trouble getting in as the code sometimes worked, sometimes not!! I let people in twice just before midnight!!

Didn’t expect a kitchenette! Thought it was a B& B! Good thing there was a great coffee shop just below! Great bed and fabulous shower!!

When we arrived there werent' any towels and the soap had finished. The cleaning lady made a poor work, I had to clean the floor myself. Also the 'breakfast' was poor; only a cup of coffee and a croissant to a cafe nearby.

The personnel did its best. The location was good, 20' walk to city center and close to the student area. The bath area was spacious.

Owner appeared at night demanding to be paid in cash the whole sum I had already paid through booking. He was rude and scared my children. The whole place was very damp, my clothes were damp in the morning , there was mold. The walls were thin and it was extremely noisy. Electric features not safe. Rust in bathroom.But what stood out was the intrusion, my kids couldn't sleep after that..

Breakfast? No breakfast. No reception either.

Unfortunately it was nothing like the pictures, a totally different location, the guy canceled the resevation under some excuses. He even charged the city tax in cash but I don't think he registered it anywhere. I do believe you should investigate this location and host, as it is fishy and dishonest. Thanks!
