    Nothing that wasn’t reasonable.

The décoré of the property was put together in a way that was both homey and artistic. I enjoyed the theme of the room we stayed it! The surrounding was rustic and romantic and the sounds of the country made for a restful sleeping experience.

We booked a family room, which consisted of two adjoining rooms. While there were two independent AC units, they weren’t sufficient to cool the rooms. The additional fans provided were quite noisy. We arrived very late, and most of the restaurants were closed after 10:00 PM. The room had an unpleasant odor that we couldn’t quite identify. It might have been due to mold, stale air, or the smell of the furniture. The handheld bidet douche was missing. Additionally, the sink drain was broken and had been repaired in a makeshift, unprofessional manner. This approach to maintenance doesn't align with professional standards, in my opinion. Ventilation fan makes noise when running. Kitchen is in a poor condition and needs serious renovation. There was an open wall junction box, which could easily be fixed by putting a cap on it. This is a simple task that should have been addressed. The entrance door and bathroom door were scraping the ground, making them difficult to open and close due to the friction. There were outdated price tags on the walls, dating back to 2018 and 2019. I’ve booked five different places in the past month, and this was the sixth. Compared to the others, this was the most expensive yet offered the least comfort and facilities.

The sheets and pillows were clean. Gemma was an incredible host. A classical example of Italian hospitality. The room was designed in an old-fashioned style, but the essential items were functioning properly. The owner has dogs, which made my daughter a bit frightened at first. However, the dogs were well-behaved, and the owner held them back so my daughter could pass by without any issues. The hotel’s actual location differs from what is shown on Booking.com. Fortunately, the friendly owner sent us the correct location via WhatsApp. There is a common kitchen at the entrance. The best feature in the bathroom was the handheld bidet douche.

Our room had a wood burning fireplace, so the smell was really embedded in the room and bathroom. They had 3 dogs so if you don’t like dogs, you may not enjoy this stay. The one dog was right in our face at breakfast. She is a Great Dane so was literally in our faces. The owner smokes so if you don’t enjoy that smell (I don’t) it can make it a bit hard to tolerate when you’re checking in, eating breakfast and when you go through their patio area to get upstairs.

The host was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were sufficient. We were able to sit outside in their yard and enjoy the weather. There was a small fridge and kettle for use by all clients. Add on breakfast for 5 Euro. It is all baked goods and yogurt. No fruit.
