Everything was incredible, cleanliness was on point, the terrace was amazing, breakfast was delicious. And we had the most amazing hosts, Duccio and his mom were so welcoming and friendly, we felt just like at home! We will be back someday for sure! All the best from Milos and Kristina!

The location is very convenient. The design and decorations are out of a Tuscany painting. Breakfast is served in the garden under a Gazebo. There is parking at the facility.

Montalcino is such a beautiful town. Porta Catellena is just a few minutes walk from everywhere. Super comfortable room with a memory foam mattress. Lovely breakfast served on the patio. Super helpful hosts. Be prepared to walk up the hill.

Nothing, everything was wonderful.

We had a wonderful time staying at this b&b. Duccio was incredibly helpful and kind, he gave us lots of recommendations that ended up being fabulous. We ended up upgrading to the lofted room because the smaller room was a bit too small for us and it worked out perfectly because it had a fireplace and we loved getting to have a fire at the end of the night. The breakfasts were delicious. Overall, it really felt like a wonderful getaway and we couldn't recommend this spot more.

Fantastic accomodation in a stunning garden setting. Wonderful hosts and a lovely al fresco breakfast. Duccio was so friendly and helpful and we absolutely loved our stay. Our only regret is not staying longer. Grazie mille!

It was a very nice place Very beautiful and quiet quick walk to town or dinner breakfast could even be added if you wanted. We Chose to cook our own breakfast after shopping at the coop in town Wi-Fi was very good and fast

Like is not a strong enough word. We loved everything about the property! From the host to the room, it was the most perfect stay one could have asked for. Breakfast was fantastic, the room was beautiful and clean, location is fantastic! Dida, the host, gives the best recommendations. I hated leaving. Miss it already.

We enjoyed our stay at Porta Castellana B&B. Delicious breakfast in the garden. Walkable to Montalcino main square and good restaurants and wine shops. You have to drive on narrow streets to get to the B&b by car.

Only slight negative was room a bit tired.

Great location. Hostess and her son were exceptional at assisting and providing recommendations for the area. Never hesitated to help guests out. Outdoor space was great.

The lanes into the accommodation are narrow and steep but quite manageable. Dead gave excellent directions and v good parking on site.

Great location close to shops and restaurants. Unit could be used as an apt or BB as we did. Montalcino close to all the great Tuscany towns and vineyards.

The drive into the property is challenging but what an adventure! I loved it. You do need a small car if driving.

Well, we could have stayed longer :-)

This was our second stay at Porta Castellana. We stayed here in 2019 and vowed to come back. The location is idyllic, Annalisa is the perfect host. Breakfast in the garden is a perfect way to start the day - though it's difficult to want to not want to linger for hours. Highly recommend.

Host was very kind and accommodated us last minute for a spontaneous decision to stay overnight in Montepulciano. The breakfast on the beautiful terrace was one of the highlights of the trip. The apartment itself was beautifully renovated, very clean and comfortable. Location was perfect for walking into the centre of town as well as accessing the countryside.
