We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomWe selected this apartment specifically because it advertised private car parking at 15 euros a day - it doesn't and we had to park in a public carpark (very good and secure) at 25 euros a day. Breakfast in the room consisted of a long life croissant and an espresso coffee eaten on the bed. Good thing there was an excellent coffee shop nearby.
The apartment is very centrally located for all the main attractions of Lecce

RomaniaI didn't like anything about this apartment or the host. Although I had paid for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children), when I arrived at the apartment and met the host, she told me that we only have only 3 breakfasts. After endless discussions, "he had the nerve to give us the 4th breakfast". Although it says that the apartment has a kitchenette, the host does not let you use it. In the room you have no closet to put your clothes, there is no table, only 1 bed and 1 single chair. The apartment needs complete renovations. One of the nights I woke up with the host in the middle of the room. He knocked on the door once and then entered without waiting for an answer from us... I have never experienced something like this before in my life, for the host to invade the space allocated to us... I would not recommend this apartment even to my enemies.

Air conditioning is central, that was great. Angelo is friendly and solves any issue in minutes. The place is fantastic. I worked in the kitchen all afternoon, peacefully and without any noise from the city center. The bathroom is big and comfortable and the room has different lighting options, ideal for creating moods and moments.

GreeceFirst of all I couldnt use the kitchen which is part of the facilities that the accomondation offers with the excuse that i had to book the entire apartment to use it which is nowhere written and makes 0 sense as well. Secondly the water in the bathroom gets cold after 10 minutes maximum and I actually learnt that from previous references so i was prepared to take very quick showers for not getting cold. The flash in the toilet almost didnt work. I also stayed without toilet paper the second day and it took two days to the owner to bring me even though I asked for it from the first day. Instead he came in the apartment to check if i used the kitchen (since he didnt allow me to use it) and also to move my food from kitchen to my room where he entered without informing me. The guy was also overall rude and not helpful at all. I felt very uncomfortable staying there and I really dont recommend the place.
Honestly the only positive thing about the acommondation is the location that it is the core of the center. Absolutely nothing else!!

The location! Literally just around the corner from the square with the Roman Amphitheater. This B&B is a perfect base for exploring Lecce's historical centre. Parking was available just a short 5 min walk away.

PortugalThe apartment was not that great, the bathroom is weird and makes a lot of noise, also not quite clean. The bed is uncomfortable and makes plastic sounds when you move. The worst was not having hot water in the shower for more than 10 minutes. Only one of us could take a shower and then the water didn't warm up again. The staff is rude and not very polite, dismissing our concerns.
The only positive thing about this stay was the location, which is very central within the old town of Lecce.
