Noisy wedding, fee for use of the beach umbrellas

Overall a great property, especially for Italy - where the standards for hotels are generally quite low. They did have a very noisy wedding with excessively loud music playing until midnight right next to the sleeping rooms - that's something that they should avoid. Also, be aware that a beach umbrella requires an additional fee. Great breakfast!

We were in Italy mid July and my wife booked places that had air conditioning, knowing that it was gonna be very hot for our (SoCal beach) standards. A/C didn’t get cooler than 25C/77F, so we had less than optimal sleep sadly. Only blemish

The location, beach and facilities were top notch! We loved the beach and the nearby restaurant (you need dinner reservations for the hotel restaurant). Breakfast at the hotel was perfect.

One downside to note is that beach loungers aren’t included—you need to reserve and pay for them in advance, which felt a bit inconvenient. Still, overall, the experience was memorable and well worth it.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, especially because it truly captures the local atmosphere. From the cultural events hosted on-site to the flavors in the food, everything felt thoughtfully curated and genuinely reflective of the region. The beach is absolutely breathtaking, by far the best we visited in the area. It’s clean, calm, and perfect for relaxing or swimming. Breakfast was also good: tasty, varied, and we never had trouble finding a table, even during peak hours.

We stayed here for just one night during our tour of Puglia. The hotel is quite large and very much a resort-style place. Very clean and very high level of service, with friendly and helpful staff, porters and people who drive you to and from your car in a golf buggy! Our room was fairly standard. Nice, but no better than other rooms we stayed in during our trip in much cheaper places. We paid about €240 for the night (cheapest available option, it was a Saturday, booked a couple of weeks ahead). Air con very effective. Basic toiletries provided. We had a private balcony. The facilities were great, with a pool outdoors, a spa, and half of the bay reserved for the hotel guests during the day. I think the bay is meant to be public, but the two hotels have sort of taken over with all the sun loungers and parasols. I hear this has happened a lot around Puglia. There is a bit a few metres round the corner that doesn't have the loungers and you can go there for free. However, you must pay if you want to use the loungers (even as a hotel guest), I can't remember how much now. Towels are provided. There are toilets by the beach. There is also an outdoor shower where you can rinse off. We spent one day on the beach and it was lovely there. The water was warm and inviting. It's a pebble beach and the pebbles get incredibly hot, so bring something to walk to the sea from your seat! I think there was WiFi available too, can't quite remember. We didn't actually use the pool because we were only there one night, so can't comment on that. There was a wedding or party on the first night we arrived (a Saturday), and the music was loud late into the night. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious. We sat outside. It was quite windy so we had to be careful of light things flying off, and there were some wasps about. But the service and the food were fantastic.

The biggest shock was the non-Pugliese neglected breakfast. In Puglia, they serve NO vegetables. No tomatos, no peppers, no cucumbers, no olives. But they have bananas, passion fruit and kiwis Made in New Zealand. They serve NO mozzarella in Puglia!, provolone or any of italian cheese. They serve only supermarket slices of emmental. No local pastry, no pane Mt.St.Angelo from the region! Only supermarket toasts, buns plus gummy foccacia. Plus whole set of Kelloggs products, fake Canadian maple syrup with HFCS, american pancakes and french croissants (sweet pastry was very good). Coffee serving was slow, but coffee was excellent. After we complained, they brought mozzarella plus tomatoes, but said Italians dont eat this for breakfast (guests mostly Italians). On the other hand, pool bar serves very good meals, though no options for kids (many kids dont eat seafood, angus or tuna tataki). But they served white pasta after request. The pool menu hasnt changed in 5 days at all. The parking is some distance away and you have to walk or use a buggy (the advantage is that no car traffic in the hotel, which is good). No EV chargers in such a remote place, but the neighbouring hotel has an EV charger. Simple AC charger would help.

The area is one of its kind. The cliffs and the pool, the garden, the beach bellow were fantastic. The rooms were refurbished and very clean. The area is not close to any village, but this can be an advantage for many guests.

This place has a real gap between its potential and the maintenance The amount of hot water per guest is not enough, the breakfast is good but not exceptional, the walking distances from place to place are huge, a 10 minute walk from the car to the room or another 10 minutes from the room to the dining room. This is undoubtedly a resort with huge potential and it is a shame that its maintenance is failing

This is a huge resort on the edge of a cliff above the most magical beach in all of southern Italy. The potential of the place is endless. The beach is amazing, the view is breathtaking, the architecture of the site is charming. The staff tries to be friendly but the language gap is a hindrance The breakfast is good, and there is also free parking

It is a difficult place to get to out of the way. Very hard to get a taxi. Need to book transport. Bus gets you 20 minutes away. Our room was small had a pump going off 24/7 outside so should have moved spots . Dinner and lunch the same menu limiting . No shops close but there is another restaurant close by. All drinks in Italy have sugar. So search out .

Beautiful setting. Weather not great so didn’t experience it at its best. Relaxing

Most of the staff do not speak English. Hence an Italian experience is ensured. However, they are helpful as much as they can be. Some of the service staff in the restaurants are not the most guest friendly. The comfort of the beds could be improved. The small pools by the villa or by the suite are very small, almost useless.

The environment, beautiful nature, almost untouched forest, clean air, the view from almost every corner, the big pool. with the sea and forest view. Breakfast and ala carte dinner were limited in variety, but very tasty, made from local organic ingredients.

For a four-star, our room was tiny and not particularly well furnished. It gave onto a tiny balcony shared with another room, and therefore basically not usable. There is a big contrast between the very nice hotel facilities and grounds, and the room itself. For one night it was OK but any longer would not have been acceptable.

The hotel is on a lovely property that gives onto a spectacular beach. The grounds are great, and the restaurant was fine if a bit pricy. It is nice that all cars have to be parked off the grounds.

Took at least an hour's drive from any major town. Terrible cell reception. NO place to shop or eat other than the restaurant on site. There are a lot of bugs! I guess it can't be helped, but fair warning. Pebble beach, barely there shore. A private pool was built into the grass, again lots of ants and bugs. It was not worth the money spent.

Beautiful view, and kind staff. The golf cart trips to and from the rooms were helpful since the villas were further than expected.

Internet is not a must in such location, however if it is offered it has to work! Wifi was inexistent with not 4g signal. This is unfortunate if you are planning to telework. Also, there was not grass in the garden , only soil which would make the little jacuzzi very dirty just getting in

Stunning location, amazing food , nice villa, good value for money ! This is a unique place
