Often felt a little understaffed, especially at lunch time at the pool where a couple of staff members were responsible for a giant queue of guests all reliant on the snack bar for lunch. Breakfast was quite underwhelming, lots of choice but not much of it was fresh food.

The swimming pool is gorgeous, it overlooks a stunning forest view. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We also had a massage which was great.

The length of time and the many wrong turns I took to get to my room. It's close to old city Otranto but otherwise you need a car.

It was a lovely property but I was put in an area that was terribly confusing to get to using three different lifts. Front desk staff were lovely and helpful but others were not.

Prices of food & drinks inside of the hotel are too expensive compared to the area (city & hotels) in Italy. Also, comfort of relax chairs at pool could have been better - some were quite old.

Wonderful staff, extremely friendly and most have a decent level in English. Umberto is by far the most wonderful waiter we ever had in a hotel stay! Also, by far the best food we have ever had in a hotel.

Lots of steps/stairs, but understand it is part of the design/architecture. Lobby bar was never open. Pool Bar served all drinks in paper cups even on the terrace. It was June & there was a big conference on which seemed to be the priority. Surprised not to be asked on departure if we enjoyed our experience, we stayed 7 nights.

We were disappointed by several aspects of our stay: • The beach transfer was very limited. The shuttle bus ran only three times per day, which did not meet our needs. • We were trapped in one of the elevators for at least 15 minutes—an adult man, a pregnant woman, and a one-year-old baby—while the outside temperature was nearly 40°C. During this time, we received minimal communication, and no one checked on us or offered assistance afterward. This is unacceptable, especially for a four-star facility. • At checkout, the receptionist did not ask about our satisfaction. One of the key cards was missing, and the focus of the conversation was the €5 replacement fee—which we were happy to pay—but it felt impersonal and unprofessional. We also paid for the bottled water from the minibar. Again, this level of service did not meet our expectations for a four-star hotel.

We liked the position of the hotel, the clean and spacious room, the structure. The waiters team was heterogeneous in terms of experience, friendly and professional.

Amazing location. A pleasant option to use the hotel transfer to the beach. The hotel has a dedicated section on the beach with umbrellas for hotel guests. The pool at the hotel is very large and clean. The food is absolutely amazing. For breakfast there is a great selection of delicious and fresh food, great cakes and pastries. Even the staff will fix you a fresh coffee at the bar in the morning. I recommend ordering with half board, dinner was served 4 course menu. Excellent choice of Apulia cuisine. Every night we tasted a bit of southern Italy. We had an amazing time staying here

Room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Pool area was very nice, garden areas and walkways were well maintained and beautiful. Breakfast was good, personnel was helpful, bikes were available 10€/day.

The breakfast although good would be more special if there was made to order eggs or an omelet station. The hotel has a lot of steps. That may be an issue for some. There are of course elevators.

The hotel appears new, with a southwest US design. The common areas are very beautifully designed both inside and out. Our room was lovely and large enough for 2 people. Breakfast was good, something to eat for all. Easy walk into town. From what I could see, I think it is the nicest hotel in Otranto!

The bed was hard, the minor details were lacking, I was not aware the water put in your room was chargeable, the shuttle to the beach and the sun bed were chargeable. I had no issue paying for them it would have been nice to know before so you could choose.

Big thing we were disappointed with was the only bar that was open in the hotel was the pool bar and all drinks only served in paper cups even if sitting on the terrace to the side. The bar opened until midnight and still no glasses for drinks. Very poor for a 4 star hotel and bothered us greatly!

The room allocated to us was very far from everything, so with baby and luggage not easy to move around. The shower space was very small so it couldn’t fit myself and baby at the same time.

Room is huge and they were able to attach the single bed to my double bed, which was very handy as I have a 1.5year old baby. Staff around the pool were lovely with us!
