Beautiful, peaceful and friendly staff

The staff create a lovely ethos throughout the hotel from the moment you walk in. They are all very professional and really love their jobs. They could not do enough for you and really make your stay a very special one. The pool and gardens were lovely.

Amazing lake views from our balcony. Room was small but perfectly clean with a new bathroom, ideal for a long weekend. Pool area is great to cool off and set back from the road so nice and peaceful. Looks just like the photos. Location is handy for all the ferries - 2 min walk from the hotel, we didn’t need a car to get around. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return

Road outside the hotel is quite noisy with traffic for sleeping

Excellent property. Pictures didn't do it justice. It was better. Staff are Excellent at front desk and at breakfast catering for gluten free options. Location is fabulous, on lake front , mountain views and walkable to restaurants.

Great location, lake views, lovely hotel, fab pool and great room, friendly staff and great breakfast selection which you can eat in the outside garden which is lovely!

The only tiny downside was the water pressure in the shower but I guess this is a regional problem rather than the hotel.

Gorgeous hotel in the perfect location. We loved Baveno and this hotel right in the heart of it was lovely. We were there during a hot spell and the pool was so lovely to make the most of. Breakfast was great, lots on offer and lovely to sit in the garden. Our room had a view over the lake which was just stunning. Very much enjoyed my birthday spent here!

Beautiful setting: lakefront, garden, pool Great friendly staff who are very helpful. They remember room numbers amd treat you with utmost respect.

I would have liked to have a few tea bags and coffee in the room. There is a kettle and 2 cups but no tea or coffee. Some cushions for the chairs outside would also be nice It’s the little touches that make a big difference

This has been our go to hotel for years as we travel down from the UK to Abruzzo. It is perfect.

The location is excellent. Right on the lungolago with lots of restaurants nearby as well as the ferry port. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Caters largely for coach parties which meant that we didn't eat in the restaurant in the evenings as it seemed too crowded and noisy.. Bar closed at 10 pm which was a little early but understandable when most guests had gone to bed by then.

Breakfast excellent choice location first class very helpful staff pool fabulous overlooking the islands walk out of the hotel bars and restaurants just over the road all very good. Also close to where you get the boat trips across to the islands Pescatori fab place for lunch if you like natural beauty this is it this hotel is the place to stay

The room was quiet

My major problem with the hotel is they did not tell me that they close the doors at night. There is night staff on but I could not see any bell or door entry system. I eventually went to the car park and managed to buzz someone to let me in. However that turned out to be a resident who then contacted the night staff. The breakfast room is large and items are spread out far and wide. I am disabled and I found this an inconvenience, especially when you had to search for where items were.

The hotel exceeded our expectations with the combination of a nice room, helpful staff, amazing pool/relaxation area, and finally, the picturesque location. We were the most excited about spending some time at the pool, sunbathing, and playing some table tennis. It was also great that you could order drinks and snacks to have next to the pool. The breakfast buffet was also very tasty with a wide choice of sweet and savory foods. I also can mention that the wifi signal was very good both in the room and also around the pool, which is often a problem in hotels. The hotels location is also ideal to explore the nearby islands and the added bonus is that the crowds for the ferries are smaller than in the neighboring Stresa. Finally, a huge thanks to the staff for making our stay even better - they made it an excellent birthday gateway for us!
