How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewFranco and Rita are super hosts. Comfortable room, with patio and access to beautiful garden (incl small swimming pool). Stunning views of the sea and mountains behind. Spotlessly clean. Best breakfast we've had in Italy. Rita's baking a real treat! Would highly recommend it. We went to the beach in Acquafredda. Easy parking. You could hire sunbeds. Not crowded. Magnificent place to swim, water so clear and clean. Thanks Franco and Rita for making it such an enjoyable holiday!!

Verified reviewIn a panoramic hillside position overlooking the sea, we found the structure quite difficult to reach along twisty roads in the rain, however it was well worth it. Our hosts revived us with warm hospitality and we loved the charming decor of our b&b room with en suite and enjoyed the additional benefit of a garden area with beautiful vegetation. Excellent breakfast with fresh fruit and homemade cakes. We also enjoyed a very good local fish dinner and wine in a friendly restaurant just a few minutes walk away. Our small dog was also welcome.

Verified reviewThe garden and the views are just superb. The restaurant just up the road was very good. The host was extremely helpful - he took his car to collect our luggage and us and the same when we left since we decided to leave the car just off the main road.

Verified reviewLoved the quiet and quaint village of Cersuta! Franco and Rita are the most wonderful and gracious hosts. They severed amazing breakfasts on the patio / in the dining room, especially Rita’s homemade pastries! We enjoyed a walk to the beautiful, clear-water tide pools at the beach. Our dinners at Ristorante Cesare were exceptionally delicious. I definitely recommend Bed & Breakfast Nefer!

Verified reviewFranco and Rita are amazing hosts in every way! They made our dinner reservations, served an amazing huge breakfast (many delicious homemade items) and drove us to the train station. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and we loved our room and enjoyed learning that it was part of the former church. We enjoyed the short walk to the ocean and the lovely view. Highly recommend!

Verified reviewThe property is set in a beautiful quiet location with a local restaurant nearby. It is the type of place you can just rest and recuperate from the world. Excellent breakfast served to your table and slightly varied each morning; lovely.
There was not much to dislike about the property; however if you don’t have a car it is maybe a bit isolated.

Verified reviewThe view from the room and balcony was lovely. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. The nearby restaurant was very fantastic and so affordable. The breakfast was just beautiful with fruit, juice, various homemade pastries, yogurt, coffee, etc. The owners were also so sweet with our dog. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to visiting again in the future.
I believe it could be difficult to stay here during the peak season (June - August) because of the location. You must have a car to stay at this B&B. Parking is very easy at the property but could be a challenge in some of the nearby small towns. We stayed in March so parking was not a problem for us at all.

Verified reviewRita and Marco's place is beautiful. There's an amazing sea view and a nice garden. The room was huge and the shower is a complete luxury compared to other place we had stayed in south Italy. We arrived late at night and Marco was already waiting for us; he even turned the heating in advance so the room was not cold. To access the parking you need to go steep downhill and then you get to an ample space. We had breakfast in the terrace since it was a sunny morning. Definitely, I recommend this place

Verified reviewThe room was spacious and with a lot of character. The hosts were superb and even provided gluten free bread for breakfast. The service was excellent and we even got driven back to our car with our luggage.
Unfortunately the access was very narrow and steep and we didn't want to risk driving down the lane and thus had to park about 100 m down the road

Verified reviewBeautiful, quiet, place to stay. You have to be a little careful when entering from the road, but there is a convenient and safe place to park your car. The hosts provide a pleasant welcome and a good, tastefully presented breakfast.
A more visible sign on the road at the entrance to the homestead.
