Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

This is a fenomenal place smack in the middle of Locorotondo. Like staying in a 5 star luxury hotel. Gianni, the host, is the cherry on top. The summum of hospitality. Highly recommended!

Firstly Gianni is the best host ever. Nothing is a problem. He even arranged a birthday cake for us. The property is first class. Recently renovated with quality materials. The breakfast is fantastic with lots of choice.

Everything was just perfect.
Owner (not rental agent), Gianni, was very kind and helpful. Communication was excellent via WhatsApp (gave him an arrival window, updated as necessary as my plans did change). Upon my arrival, Gianni was there within five minutes to give me the keys and explain amenities to me. Water, snacks, tea and coffee, and even a bottle of the local white wine were provided as a gift. Bedding and bath towels were excellent, thick white cotton, better than most luxurious hotels. Included delicious breakfast at nearby (five-minute walk), choose whatever you want! Gianni was not only a great host but also a gentleman.

Nothing everything was great, room, location staff all great.
It is a perfect location for visiting surrounding town. It is not as busy as many of the towns we visited which was nice. The property is stunning and the amenities exceeded our expectations. Parking is easy with easy park app. Most nights it was only 5€. Most of the night hours there is no charge. The app only charges for the valid paid hours. Breakfast is set up between two nearby restaurants and there is no charge. Items in the mini fridge are complimentary and restocked each day. We highly recommend a stay here.

It was all perfect. I would have like a coffee machine but it was not a problem.
Perfect location in the center of locorotondo old town. Gianni is an excellent host. The room is amazing. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great . Highly recommended!

Giovanni is a perfect host. We had an amazing time and we loved the apartment which is in historic part of Locorotondo and spotlessly clean. The city is lovely and alive. If you want to visit other parts of Apulija this is the best spot because everything is close by. The breakfast is served in local bar which is very authentic and nice. I would highly recommend 💞.

We stayed in a very tastefully decorated room, which had a very luxurious and local feel to it, right in the center of a beautiful town. The welcome was very friendly and warm with even a bottle of wine. Finally the breakfast was perfectly arranged in a local cafe nearby. We had a wonderful stay.

Nothing. It’s a great place to stay.
We spent a wonderful 3 days in Locorotondo at Bella Itria. One of our nicest stays in Italy. Marvelous property. Centrally located but very quiet. The building has been beautifully restored. Bed is comfortably and spacious for two. Excellent shower. Room has a minibar filled with complimentary treats. How thoughtful. The best part of the property is Gianni, the host. He is so welcoming and helpful. My wife needed something on Sunday when stores were closed and Gianni found an open store in the outskirts, picked it up and delivered it himself! His recommendations for restaurants and things to do were all spot on. He is amazing. Stay here if you visit Locorotondo. Highly recommended.
