Room was clean and air-conditioner worked very well. (We stayed in a hot day) Facility seems old but equipped well. I felt very good for the stay. Parking area is a bit narrow but we could park the car by reserving in advance. There is a supermarket in a few minutes walk and we can access the center of Sanremo by walk in good pasage.

My biggest issue was that the blackout curtains didn't keep the light out enough for me to have true darkness for sleeping. I had to put something over my eyes before I could fall asleep. While the general clensiness of the room was good, there was a very small layer of dust on the furniture, a harder to reach corner was also not perfectly clean, and on the first night one of my sheets had a small stain. (The next day I asked for a replacement sheet and it was done, no problems at all). The mattresses are pretty hard but I've found that to be the case in most of the places I've stayed in during the last few years. Again, to put everything in perspective - it's a 3 star hotel so I didn't expect the attention to every detail like I would in a 5 star hotel. (that being said, higher rates hotels aren't perfect every time either). For us, it met our expectations, the friendliness of the staff really makes it an excellent experience despite the tiny details not being perfect.

The room was generally clean. The room and the bathroom were a good size and we even had a decent partial sea view. We asked the cleaning lady for an extra sheet on our first day and got a fresh extra sheet the next time we had the room cleaned as well. The staff was very friendly, from the cleaning lady to the receptionists to the restaurant staff. The receptionists were extremely helpful, the parking is watched by CCTV 24/7 from the reception. The location is near the beach, a 5 minute walk downhill or down some stairs. I also liked that the guests we met here were pensioners and other grown ups, which was very enjoyable for me. I think I saw one child during the week we stayed here. The food was good and plentiful for dinner. The breakfast buffet is small but it's enough to start off the day well. It is a 3 star hotel after all, so don't expect champagne breakfast and lobster. For us, it was perfect and we'll happily come back again another time.

Lovely hotel. Excellent breakfast. Does have a restaurant if you don't want to walk into town. The staff were extremely professional and friendly. Special thanks to Sebastian. A lovely small outside terrace which is always a bonus.

The Belsoggiorno is an old style hotel not far from the center of Sanremo. We booked for 1 night and added an extra night after we arrived. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts and the one dinner we had were fine. The service at the front desk provided by Sebastian and colleagues was excellent.

the property is well located but unfortunately along a main road - there is traffic noise. However when windows are closed and airco on the noise reduces considerably

We were very disappointed that the bikes which were on the website as available were not available.

We had a wonderful stay at Belsoggiorno. We were a little worried about the road noise as is on the main road. However, we had no difficulty whatsoever in sleeping. There is excellent soundproofing. The bed was fantastic really comfortable, and the room had a side view of the sea. It’s in a really great location to be at the beach, but also walk into San Remo for shopping and events. We paid to go half board and this was an excellent choice. There were numerous options and the food was of high quality. I want to say a very big thank you to the staff who were all extremely professional and friendly.  the Hotel even noticed that it was my husband’s birthday the following day after check-in, and provided a bottle of Prosecco for us.

Bed was so hard, it was like sleeping on a park bench, slept really badly, not good.

Absolutely wonderful place for a stay in Sanremo. Not extremely central but you will avoid heat and noise. Perfect room, clean, nicely furnished. Very good water pressure in the shower. Good air conditioning in the room (though not in public areas of the hotel). Balcony with two small chairs. Strongly recommended.

Lack of power points in the room, none near bed side tables. Noisy fan in the bathroom. The beaches near are all beach clubs so you have to pay if you want to go to beach or swim.

Old style hotel with comfortable beds. Good location near the center and the beach. Good private parking at the hotel. Average breakfast. Very good air conditioning. You can also have a sea view room.
