There is a big balcony which is good to have when you stay in Summer time. For us was not that useful as we were staying in November, so it was pretty cold. The room is good for its price, the guest kit was good. The place is guite as its far away from the road. The breakfast is good as well.

We wanted to have a earlz check in and we called to the reception. Receptionist agreed to provide the room earlier and said that its possible only if we Could be there by 12.30. We arrived at 12.00 and we did not find anyone. All was closed. So we had to wait until 16.00 to get a check in.

It's in a nice location and the house has a Mexican style family home... It's outside the city so it's very quiet but you'd need a car to reach the location. The breakfast and the stuff was amazing.

The door to the room has transparent curtains and when someone passes by they might see inside the room. Sleeping and seeing outside is a bit creepy.

Clean place, acceptable room/bathroom (even if the bathroom is big, the shower cabin is very small), free parking space in the yard, good food (breakfast included). No elevator for upper floor rooms. Low price which makes it an acceptable value for one night.

Although check-in was advertised as 14:30-22:00 (now they changed it to 16:00-22:00), when I arrived at 16:05 there was no one at the reception until 17:00 00 and this created great discomfort for us. no WiFi.

    Location, staff and breakfast.

What use is a desk if there's not a single chair, no patio furniture if the paved area outside the room was the patio, air con switched on but didn't effect any cooling, cobwebs, dirty net curtains, small hole in the bath which may or may not have been sealed from below. No glasses/beakers provided.

    The breakfast was OK but.......

We reserved 2 Rooms, one for the Adults and an other one for my daughters. It was terrible !! No air conditionned. More than 33° C in the room I think when you want to rent bedrooms you have to be sure that everything is perfect !!!

Fantastic, quiet location very close to town but with a country feel. The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The girl at the reception was very helpful. The breakfast very good.

The road to get to the hotel needed 4x4 vehicle. The bathroom of the room was very poor. The balcony completely claustrophobic with bars and no view. Generally the whole complex slightly abandoned, with cobwebs, weeds.

If you want to pay to live a nightmare in a hotel accommodation, choose Cascina Volta. Shortly after leaving the highway, the road to Cascina Volta is a mechanic challenge for the car and for the nerves of the passengers, such are the potholes and their depth... the path is not even good for tractors! When we arrived close to the building, after 8pm, we noticed that the “guest” vehicles ranged from trucks to normal cars. We looked for the key at the agreed location (reception already closed) and the lack of hygiene of the plastic table and chair that were outside stood out. The ashtray was completely full... We wanted to speak to the person in charge and tried several times to call the telephone number that was shared in the reception window, in case something was urgent. They never answered! We were baffled with such a low service level. The surroundings were not at all welcoming... some men outside smoking and several clotheslines hanging around, it was clear that people were in that accommodation on a “more permanent” basis than the traditional guests. It was embarrassing and uncomfortable to understand the environment we were in. The climb to the room was made via stairs whose bulbs didn't light up (we had to use our cell phone). Along the way, and when passing through the other rooms, we saw several shoes outside!! The smell of tobacco was intense, despite the warnings not to smoke in the corridors. When we arrived at our room, we were already very sorry about having booked 2 nights in that place. But as they weren't answering the phone, we weren't able to share our concerns with the person in charge. We decided to take a shower and leave. We sent a written communication and on the following day, they replied that they did not understand our problem and as we had taken a shower they would not refund the money for the 2 nights. Incredible... I think the person must have confused us with the foreign workers he decided to house in that building...
