The total feeling of the stay and communication is a bit formal - not like you expect from a private hotel in the countryside

The place is amazing, such a beautiful getaway in the middle of nowhere, perfect for some time alone to disconnect and just be. The staff were very accommodating, and the food was perfect.

I hope the place will not be marketed to and flooded with loud, noisy Amercans. Also, a dress code would not be a bad idea for some guests.

We liked that there is not a breakfast buffet, but personal table service. Restaurant Cedri is a gem with an interesting approach to combinations. We also liked very much the effort that has been taken with an integrated architectural style, very well done.

We recently stayed at this stunning hotel for our honeymoon, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. The welcome was warm, and the attention to detail was remarkable. The room was immaculate, spacious, and elegantly decorated, with breathtaking views that set the perfect romantic ambiance. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. We loved the personalized touches that made us feel pampered from start to finish. The outdoor heated pool was absolutely perfect, the Spa was amazing the indoor jacuzzi and sauna with the outdoor view was unbelievable. The staff deserves special mention Magi Alena and Alessia all under the command of the amazing manager Antonelo – they were genuinely friendly, always willing to help, and made sure every aspect of our stay was flawless. They even surprised us with a lovely gesture to celebrate our honeymoon, which made our stay even more memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend such an important moment in our lives. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to everyone and can’t wait to come back! Thank you for making our honeymoon an unforgettable experience!

Exceptional attention to detail and concerted effort by all the team at the resort to ensure clients have a memorable experience. The facilities are definitely five star. The villa has been restored to a very high standard with a focus on understated luxury. Complemented by amazing spa facilities and restaurants. Most importantly the staff go out of their way to ensure your stay exceeds your expectations.

Our stay at the resort was exepctional, The general manager was phenomenal and was available all of the time, as were the rest of the staff. open-air cinema, beautiful pool, gardens, I don't know what impressed us more, but the stay was phenomenal and we will definitely come again

The main drawcard is the stunning renovation. The building itself and the interior design are spectacular. Unfortunately we were there at the end of April only a week or so after the season opening and it was a little too quiet. Our first night at dinner there were only another two people and it just felt awkward. The restaurant staff were brilliant but the reception staff weren’t nearly as authentically hospitable. Finally I was extremely disappointed with both booking.com and the reservation team at Borgo Dei Conti for not managing to organise an adjacent room for my children. Instead they were on the other side of the building. Zero stars for that blunder. Paying using a weak Australian dollar at a very expensive hotel that sort of oversight is not acceptable
