Perfect location, beautiful place to stay, the pool was big and clean, kind hospitality, we also saw many firefly in the garden. The restaurant was also perfect and the foods and the drinks were delicious! Thank you Rosanna for your kindness and for your help.

The rooms felt outdated and could use some renovation. The kitchen lacked some basic essentials like a bottle of water, salt, or other small necessities upon arrival, which would have been appreciated.

Beautiful location with classic Tuscan scenery. The pool was perfect, the restaurant very good, and the sports field well maintained. Relaxing atmosphere and stunning views. Very clean. Highly recommend!

On the downside, the service was noticeably slow particularly in the mornings. It often took longer than expected to be served, with sweets arriving first while we consistently had to wait quite a while for the cheese and cold cuts. One morning, we all requested ricotta (which, to be fair, was absolutely delicious), but despite multiple reminders, we received just a single portion for the entire table of four. Another aspect I can’t really recommend is the wine tasting experience. While the wine selection was excellent, the accompanying cold platter was underwhelming barely enough for two people, even though it’s meant to complement a tasting of eight wines. We paid for four people and still had to order additional food and dessert afterward, which made the experience feel a bit overpriced and disappointing.

To give credit where it’s due, I really liked the location. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway away from the city, I can highly recommend this place. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is friendly, and the pool is a great bonus. I also appreciated the intimate atmosphere, thanks to the limited number of rooms it made the stay feel more peaceful.

This was absolutely perfect - from how lovely the staff were, to the stunning surroundings we absolutely loved staying here. We spent 9 nights and it was in an ideal, central location to be able to spend our time travelling in car around Tuscany. One of the most special places we’ve been to!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful local villa in Tuscany. It was clean and cozy — perfect for a peaceful retreat. The outdoor pool looked amazing, though it was a bit too chill outside to use during our visit. The hosts were kind and helpful, making us feel very welcome.

The only thing that was a little annoying is that during the night you can hear the cars from the main road. However, we understand that it might be difficult to technically resolve this since they want to keep the original walls and structure of the building. Just wanted to mention this for people who have trouble sleeping. It might not be the same in other rooms. This will not influence our overall review of the location☺️

This place is like heaven on Earth! It looks amazing, extremely charming, it offers the most genuine tuscany vibes which we were searching for during our stay! The scenery, the rooms, services are top quality! Special thanks and appreciation to Rosanna, she was super helpful, polite and nice, always willing to talk to us and help with a smile on her face! The rooms are renovated and clean and they managed to keep the local vibes, which is lovely. Breakfast is served by the waiters at the table, is not a buffet and we loved it. The food at the restaurant is delicious, they produce olive oil, wine and pasta, it is worth to try at least a dinner, you will not regret it! There was a special event / dinner organized one night with a pre established menu, it was a top event, great food! The pool also looked lovely as well as the area surrounding it!

Stay at Borgo Il Poggiaccio was the best part of our Tuscany trip. The property is so beautiful that we didn't want to leave. Great location if you want to discover all parts of the Tuscany. Breakfast is fresh and really tasty. Would recommend it 100 times and can't wait to come back!

Really beautiful place in an original Tuscan environment which is close to San Gimnignano, Siena, Volterra. Staff is kind and helpful and you have chance playing tennis, basketball, ping-pong and swimming in a big outdoor pool. There is a nice restaurant too where you can eat tasty tuscan specialties. I suggest to everybody who would like stay an imazing place at Toscana 🙂

A couple of things worth noting: Even though the construction is super solid we could hear the neighbours either side really clearly. Maybe worth having a look at the acoustics around that. Lastly, the kitchen was well equiped with pots/pans and utensils but it would be great to supply the basics: salt, pepper, olive oil, balsamic etc. Given the residenza sells its own olive oil, feels like a missed opportunity!

Absolutely stunning property. End of season but still managed to take the plunge in the pool… Nice and close to Sienna but great to be in the countryside. The aparment itself was really cool, with a big fireplace and a mezzanine room for the kids. Also, the restaurant and the local wines were outstanding!
