Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

We had already rented the Trullo apartment with kitchen and enjoyed so much this place and the surrounding area that we decided to stay a little longer so we moved to the smaller room next door since it was the only one available. This accommodation too did not disappoint, very private and super clean, nice sheets, lovely bathroom and decoration with small sitting area and I loved the open air shower with view. If you are looking for some quite spot where to enjoy some peace don’t hesitate to book. The host goes out of her way to please her guests, always with a smile and cooks the most delicious breakfast in her garden. Highly recommended.

One of the most enjoyable experiences of visiting the Adriatic coast of Puglia is staying at the unique local 17th century dwelling, the trullo. Conical shaped trulli stay cool, usually in a rural setting, but not far from the sea. Our lodging was no exception. Just next to the property was our host Antonella's beautiful masseria where we took our breakfast, in the shade of lovely Pugliese pines. Antonella and her jovial enthusiasm was a nice addition to the ambiance of the property. She provided us with delicious breakfasts of local products and her homemade cakes, and gave us helpful directions and suggestions as well as reserving local restaurants. Our Trullo was quaint and comfortable with all the amenities of modern accommodations. What a great find!

MaltaThere was nothing we didn't like
Our "away from it all" holiday ended with 2 nights in Borgo Trulli which lived up to all expectations. Antonella was a fantastic hostess and memories of her Trulli and amazing old Masseria surrounded by beautiful fields/trees/wild flowers will sustain us during the hot summer days back home in Malta. We wish we had not wasted time visiting overcrowded Alberobello as we saw many more Trulli in their natural surroundings at Borgo Trulli and the area around. The nearby town of Cisternino is definitely worth a visit too.

SloveniaIt was cold inside the trullo, could be cleaner. Other than that, no complaints, it was perfect!
We loved the location and the vibes of the property. The owner was super friendly and even upgraded us to a trullo. It is a 10 min walk to Ashram Bhole Baba which was perfect for us. Unfortunatelly we only stayed there one night, but we would love to stay longer.

BelgiumThe only thing we regretted is not staying for more than one night.
The location was remote but still easy to reach, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The trulli itself was more than spacious enough, and the environment was so beautiful, like the perfect Italian postcard. Antonella is a lovely woman and was the perfect host. She gave us some more tips on what to visit in the area. A must visit for the perfect Italian getaway.

New ZealandThe masseria was closed as it was September, which was disappointing, as we were expecting to have one dinner here during our stay to save driving. We would have like some coffee/tea making facilities. No wifi in or near rooms, and even data connection patchy, which made planning our days difficult.
Antonella was very helpful with recommendations for towns to visit and restaurants. Just a couple of trulli rooms on a farm… a 15 min drive (on windy small roads) from a number of villages, and very close to the Valle d’Itria aqueduct for great cycling/walking.

United KingdomWe had the most amazing time at Antonella’s wonderful trullo. The trullo itself was beautiful, amazingly furnished and set in the picturesque countryside (only 10 min drive from hilltop town Cisternino!) We especially enjoyed breakfast in the garden of the traditional masseria. Antonella is an excellent host and gave us lots of useful tips and recommendations. Can’t wait to come back again and stay for longer!
