Beautifully furnished and comfortable rooms. Amazing amenities included such as pools, spa access and beach club. Great food and very friendly staff. The view was something out of this world. We much preferred staying in maiori compared to the other very busy spots on Amalfi coast

Drinks were a bit expensive but that comes with staying at a luxury hotel

Very nice hotel. Situated beautifully on a cliff with breathtaking view. Plants and flowers everywhere and a fantastic botanical garden. Excellent staff. Very kind and helpful. Fortunata in the restaurant was very professional, kind and helpful.

There is a problem with ants.

The pool area and balcony of our room.

Bedrooms dated and shabby and in need of decoration and refurbishment. Bedside table worn and old. Unsightly wires hanging down from TV on wall in bedroom. Bedroom was also very dark and small. Taps in bathroom watermarked and full of limescale. Food in restaurants was nothing special, and quite a few things weren’t even available on the menus.

Location, views, restaurant and staff were great. The communal pool and the private pool in the room are amazing. Good location and service at the beach.

I am very disappointed. The room I booked was in the order of over €1500 / night. Out of 3 nights, 2 of them the A/C was broken and not repaired during our stay. Being the end of June, it is not a good service. I mentioned it during the check-out and I only got a super cold apology. I would have expected that either the A/C was repaired or that the apology for not being able to repair it on time was said first as I walked in reception for check-out. This is a 5-star establishment, it should aim for this level of service. Additionally, the SPA is super poor, only sauna and steam rooms; and the breakfast is quite limited in options. Finally, loads of ants.

Such a stunning location perched on the hillside above maiori! Beautiful views

There was no beach club, even though it was advertised on the website (apparently a planning issue had held up its opening?)

It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a hotel. When we arrived we were surprised to learn that there was no shower in the room, just a bathtub. During the night, the air conditioning kept turning off. We woke up sweaty. We called reception, but after a while, they no longer answered.

The room was very nice. Comfortable bed. Nice view. Nice that they include the beach club with the very high nightly rate.

The location is hard to get to. You have to go up a furnicular and then go up 80 steps. Lots of ants. Service is so so. They take a very long time to bring the bags up or get the car out of the garage. I wish parking was included in the price. Very expensive. The shower was clogged and the sink had issues.

The staff was pleasant, but ineffective. The pool was lovely, but it closed at 7pm.

We booked two rooms- one for me and my husband, and one for our three teenager daughters. When our daughters woke up the first morning, they noticed that there was a long, wide line of ants crawling across the wall. Upon further inspection, two of my daughters had ants IN THEIR BEDS (both live and dead as my daughters rolled over on them and killed some). We let the front desk staff know and their reply was to change the sheets and wipe off the ants on the wall. The next night, the ants were back, crawling all over the beds and back on the wall. We asked for a room change several times, and were told, "We have to check with our boss for availability." The cleaning staff went back into the room and wiped up the ants a second time. The next morning, the ants were back. We then started insisting that they change the room for our daughters as they do not like to sleep in beds with ants. Again, we were met with resistance. We told the front desk staff that we were headed out for the day, and that it should be solved upon our return. When we got back, there was no resolution. We finally had to tell them that our daughter would not sleep in the room. The staff finally said they could move ONE daughter out of the room. When we went to see the new room, it was also a triple room- but they would not let my other two daughters move into the room as well. There was no offer of any apologies or compensation for my daughters sleeping in bed with ants and having them crawl on the wall in their room. They just said, "oh, yes, we have ants because of the gardens surrounding the hotel." I was even charged for a Coke, as it was, "not a part of breakfast." I wish that was on their website, or confirmation, or anything. We spent a lot of money celebrating with my family, and we had to worry about ants in our bed and room. I will not recommend this hotel in the future.

The hotel is high located and only to reach by a funiculare and some stair cases. It's a very nice boutique hotel with great staff and beautifull view over the Amalfi coast. Breakfast and service was great. The pool is small but nice. As mentioned it's a small boutique hotel and your expectations should be accordingly.

If you are by car /GPS it's hard to find. Just by accident we found the entrance. Some information to the guests how to reach would be helpfull. If your mobility is less (bad knees etc) than is not the best place. You need to walk quite some steps.

We loved the view and our room was just beautiful, complete with its own balcony. The surrounding area was beautiful and the view panoramic. We loved the location of the property, easy for beach access and visiting the beautiful Maiori.

    We loved everything!
