Only improvement would be to provide hair conditioner — I don’t understand how this is not yet a standard item other than the industry seems oddly sexist in providing toiletries that work only for people with short hair.

Beautiful spacious room with a bathtub — little drying rack for clothes in balcony perfect for hikers. Big plush robes, huge towels, so comfy. Exceptionally friendly and competent staff. Top quality breakfast. We also stayed one night at a property next door that was fine and same price but a step down in terms of quality of details, amenities etc.

This the best small hotel i beleive i ever had. This as totally perfect. The attention to details the feel good inside the smell the personal. All was absolutely fantastic. Had health issues and Patricia was like a mother to me. So kind and attentive. They gave me the right advice and recommendations. They are amazing.

This hotel is an absolutely perfect base for skiing in Courmayeur. The hotel is so clean. Our room was lovely and a great size. The amenities were fabulous especially the beautiful bar, lounge and sauna., Patricia and her staff are absolutely brilliant, Francisco is the perfect host and barman. Breakfast is just incredible. The boot room, boot dryers, the transport to the lift ...everything is set up to make your skiing trip special. We loved everything....except from having to go home!

This is a fantastic hotel. It’s ideally located between the 2 ski lifts with a free shuttle service to and from the lift. The rooms are spacious and very clean , the showers are hot and powerful. The quality and choice of breakfast is super. It’s a perfect option for skiing in Courmayeur.

The staff were absolutely lovely and made the hotel. The sauna was small but clean and fairly new. The room was very spacious for a ski resort with lots of room for all your stuff. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

The hotel is really pretty. The room was quite large, very clean and with all the right amenities. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was leaving very early in the morning (6:30am), so they insisted in making me a sandwich. My stay was part of my TMB, so I was there only for 14 hours. I hope to come back one day and spend a few extra days.

This family run hotel could not be more welcoming. The hosts Patrizia and Andrea go out of their way to make a stay a success . They could not be more helpful or accommodating. Nothing seems too much trouble and all their staff reflect this attitude

Such a great hotel! It exceeded our expectations and was so much better than the photos. Brilliant location, short walk to the Via Roma. Chauffeur service to the Dolonne chairlift in mornings and after skiing. Plentiful, delicious breakfast with lots of variety. Comfortable living room with a roaring fire and a great little bar. They make a mean negroni! Great size bedroom, and all super clean. The best part is the kind and friendly owners who really make your stay such a pleasure. We will definitely return!

The staff and the breakfast at Bouton d'Or are amazing - plus the daily shuttle service to and from the lifts was a great added bonus! Top location as well - will definitely be back!
