I loved everything about it. Given I had selected it for location within walking distance to ferry & water ‘bus’ I was thrilled to discover it met my desire to escape the usual crowds of tourists & to experience a ‘real’ neighborhood w cafes & shops frequented by residents. Yet I could walk to those sites taking in real Venice life on my way.

I knew my stay would be perfect when the owner unexpectedly met me w a warm greeting on the bridge across the canal to her guesthouse. Tho I had selected Ca Bea for proximity to ferry I would stay here again given the beautiful, thoughtfully appointed room in a quiet, nontouristy area of Venice. Was a nice retreat away from the crowds. Literally everything one might need or like for an overnite stay had been thought of— even a closet to leave your bags after checkout. The warmth & kindness of owner was much appreciated. I will be recommending Ca Bea to family & friends.

We loved everything!

We loved the location, hidden on the quiet streets but not far from some amazing food and views. The room was spacious and comfortable, especially the large bed!

Beautiful and very clean rooms, extremely polite hosts, and a quite neighborhood not too far from main Venice attractions. What else can you ask for? Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, including grocery stores. The beds were comfy and we truly enjoyed our short, but great stay at Ca Bea. Thank you :)

We truly enjoyed everything—the wonderful location, the cozy room, and especially the personalized guide which we found in room. It was such an amazing resource, full of local insights and recommendations. We followed suggestions and discovered some truly lovely places to visit, try, and explore. It made our experience in Venice all the more special. We can’t wait to return and will definitely recommend your place.

Great for our one night stay. It’s a nice quiet spot compared to the madness of San Marco but a bit of a walk to get to the main tourist sights. That did t bother us but may be a problem for some. Our host was always responsive and an excellent help throughout our stay and allowing us to keep our bags on the property after check out was such a bonus.

Excellent location, walking distance to the central parking, good restaurants, and vaporetto lines; rooms are large (for Venice), well appointed, and very clean; and host Federico is easily accessible, very pleasant, and helpful with suggestions; excellent stay!

The bathroom sometimes smelled but that must be normal for the canals. The room was a little dusty

Ca Bea is a great place to spend a few days on the island, it is close to all the best, and in a quiet place. Federico helped us with everything we needed and gave us a guide to the city that included everything we needed.

Good room, has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is convenient, it is in a quiet and cozy area, you can quickly get to the center. There are restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. Federico is very nice and helpful. He also gave recommendations on which restaurants and cafes to go to, which was very helpful

Absolutely lovely host and the room was really romantic. Great location close to the boat station and a local supermarket, very quiet place as well. Local restaurants somewhat affordable compared to the centre.

The offer for us to pay 20 euros for air-conditioning. Expensive. Why not add it to the price and include it, then we wouldn't feel annoyed about it. Shower a little small.

Romantic room with wide comfortable bed. Lovely ensuite with bidet. Fridge with mini bar to purchase. Kettle. Good access to bus station and water bus into main square. Close to lots of restaurants.

Maybe the bed was a little firm for us and also the pillows, but everyone has different likes of bedding.... Not a problem.

Federico was the most gorgeous host, friendly, so helpful and offers this really lovely room. The teacups were so lovely as was the decor. The bathroom was modern. Fabulous link to absolutely everything you need. The location great 15/20min walk from train.

Federico was so welcoming and always accessible. The property was clean, safe, charming, and accessible to everything. It is located in a beautiful area away from the crowds. Would not even consider another place upon our next return to Venice!
