We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

FranceInitially some difficulty entering, but local agent assisted by telephone. Only one bed made up and second was a bunk bed unmade. As we are 2 male adults, not ideal. The shower rail is loose and had to be used with caution. Recycling had to be done by ourselves or pay 10 euros fee.
Apartments are self catering.

United KingdomSome issues with parking late at night. Direction and driving are difficult in small Italian streets and medieval villages. Google Maps seemed to cope the best in terms of GPS, but I would advise learning the roads and landmarks ASAP, as none of the navigation systems were entirely reliable.
The locations was quiet and pleasant. Be prepared for uphill walks and flights of stairs, but this is not a problem if you are in reasonable physical health. The view and the quiet location are worth it.

About 8 minutes on a pleasant walk to the center of town, where you will find great restaurants with friendly people, a terrific pasticceria, and cafes and bars. The apartment was absolutely spotlessly clean and delightful. Wireless internet worked perfectly and faster than expected. Overall simply terrific.

Switzerland* Strange practice of asking for credit card info on WhatsApp or booking chat for “deposit” — I have never experienced this before. * Horrible website for checkin that takes so much information that it makes me concerned. Oh yes it also signs you up for marketing spam by default unless you uncheck a box. * Cat hair everywhere in the apartment * Bunk bed position is so that the person on the top bed frequently hits their head on the roof. * After you arrive, you learn of rules that ask you to throw your garbage out without telling you where. Else you must pay 10 Euro. * Dirty cutlery and dishes :(
