Location Paid: €65.20 inclusive of tax (not worth the value with the lack of AC)

Room 106: AC works but not cool (hovering at 25), too hot at night (visited in summer) Safe did not work (unsure why). Socket in the toilet was loose, intermittent power for hairdryer. External building was dirty.

The rooms location was perfect to discover Venice. Room had enough space- The small kitchen and fridge in the room was very convenient. Staff was very friendly. Check-In and Check-Out was uncomplicated.

The AC was not very efficient even though it was running the whole time.

The bed was comfortable.

We found a grape under our bed, dead mosquitos against the wall, no toiletries. We weren’t told the city tax HAD TO BE paid in cash so we had to walk all the way back to the station in 35° weather to withdraw cash. They entered our room to clean without our consent. We were never told the code to access the b&b and it took 20 minutes to get into contact with a worker because no one was at the reception (even though this was at 19:00 or so and reception is open until 22:00). This place is worth 30 p.p per night at best.

The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean. Whilst this hotel is on the edge of Venice Island, it is near multiple water-bus stops which makes getting the boat in each day very simple. This is a good budget accommodation especially if you are looking to stay away from the crowds.

We had a strange experience whereby the hotel text us on the day of our reservation saying they had overbooked and wanted to offer us a free upgrade to a more expensive hotel - the Canal Riva De Biasio - however, when we checked the reviews this appeared to be a lower quality hotel with some very bad reviews. I’m unsure if this was genuine or an attempted scam to fit more customers in, so we declined the offer and stuck with our original booking. The hotel were originally quite pushy saying the upgraded hotel was a better option and worth more money, but eventually let up and confirmed our original booking. This could be a misunderstanding and a genuine offer, however something didn’t feel right and I thought it best to warn other customers as a precaution.

Comfy bed and beautiful place with a clean bathroom and AC which helped a lot in July. Check-in was easy and is a very close walk to the train station.

Location is a bit far outside the city center but I think this is a plus. You get to see a whole different quiet beautiful side of Venice compared to the standard tourist on your walk balk to to the hotel. You do have to walk though :)

Everything was great except the air conditioning. They had no air conditioning. It was just a fan blowing warm air

Get the air conditioning fixed! They tried telling me no one else has ever complained, but I looked on the reviews and it seems like it’s a thing and all of our rooms were the same

Clean simple rooms, very close to a conference venue that I was attending. Helpful staff.

Everything was ok

Friendly staff. Quite location near Vaporetto stop and very close to the station. Room size was big and it had traditional airy windows giving a great feel of living in Venezia

Bathrooms had a bit of mold and a bit of foul smell. Air-conditioning wasn't too effective

No printer at reception. Walls very this. Made of some cardboard or wood. Aircon poor. No fridge. Shower door completely loose.

I was happy to have a spacious room in a very quiet district close to the station.
