The breakfast was very minimal, almost non-existent. If breakfast is important to you, this might be a downside. Overall, a good stay thanks to the location and cleanliness. Just don’t expect much from the breakfast.

We stayed at Hotel Calypso and were very pleased with its excellent location—just a short walk from the train station, which made it very convenient for traveling around. We also found free parking just 30 meters from the hotel on the white-marked spots, which was a big plus. The room and the entire hotel were very clean, and housekeeping did a great job. Towels were changed almost daily, which we really appreciated.

The whole staff were very helpful and the room and bed comfortable. The shower was one of the best I’ve ever experienced in an hotel (and I used to be in the bathroom business).

I booked a room for my daughter and some friends who were traveling through Europe by train. They needed to spend the night in Ventimiglia to wait for the early morning train. They were very kind to them; they felt cared for, and they prepared a hearty breakfast to take with them. Thank you so much. Grazie mille.

We have visited a few times now, and the location is perfect. Not far from the train station (easy to walk) and literally around the corner from the famous Friday Market (which seems to get bigger every visit!), and of course the sea front. The rooms are exceptionally clean, breakfast is great and the staff are charming.

Having had a flight cancelled from Nice once at the airport due to strikes we decided to head to Italy to fly home from there. Did an overnight stop at this hotel after seeing good reviews. Beds comfortable & everything clean. Value for money and good location close to railway station and shops

Location, very lovely staff and a nice clean hotel. Staff is very informative. Gave us excellent restaurant suggestions and on Thursday night, they made sure guests with cars knew where NOT to park due to the market on Fridays! Very proactive! Would stay here again.

The lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful. I also told her that I would be leaving for a train at 4:00am and she insisted that they would have a to-go breakfast ready for me before I left. And they did!

This hotel suited my needs really well.

This was the second time that I've stayed at this hotel. It is really easy to reach from the station but also close to the lovely promenade along the sea and close to cafes and restaurants. It is also a nice walk from the historical centre up on the hill overlooking the sea. The staff has been very kind and responsive to requests and very welcoming to my little dog and the price was really reasonable for what I got.

It is just a small suggestion: some more vegetables (ie. tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, etc) for breakfast and maybe some more parking spaces somewhere close to the hotel since the hotel's parking lot is quite small and there is market taking place close to the hotel each Friday, so parking on the street gets impossible.

Room (no. 14) was clean, cosy and very comfortable. Must have been newly renovated and you could feel that! Two adjoined rooms with private bathroom in the middle. Balcony, TV in each room and separate AC.

If anything negative, I would say maybe not being able to take the keys with you outside is something unusual. But nevertheless, for 1 night stay, this didn't bother us too much.

The staff were really nice! The room was clean and for a two star hotel, this was such a comfortable stay. It exceeded out expectations. The breakfast was also small but good quality products.

We did not like our cappuccino as it was too watery, but also not really a problem. Our room did not have a mini fridge (not sure if it was just our rate or to be expected in all rooms) and this is a bit of an issue if you’re spending a few days in the summer as you can’t stock chilled water and drinks.

This is a nice little hotel, very good location as it’s easy to reach the marina, the station and the town centre. Theres’s a 24h supermarket around the corner but don’t expect much in the night. The town overall did have a weird stench, especially around the hotel area but couldn’t fault the hotel. The staff are very nice and approachable. Breakfast had a lot of choices and the breakfast timeframe was accommodating. With a fan and AC unit, the room gets nice and chilly quickly.

There is a step up into the bathroom, and then have to step down to exit the bathroom. Did Miss it and fell exiting. Did not get hurt, just be cautious.

Location was amazing-close to the train station and close to the Sea. The staff was very helpful in suggestions for restaurant locations. Was quiet and free breakfast had great choices.
