Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

HungaryWe couldnt close the top window in our apartment, so we just left it open, but there were a lot of mosquitoes at night. Also we didn't tell the host, I'm sure she would've helped us if we told her.
The location of the apartment is superb, close to the mall, to the train station (to go into Florence in 20 minutes!) and to many great restaurants. The host was also really friendly and helping. On our way there we had an unrepairable flat tyre and she helped us managing new tyres and replacing current ones through her own mechanic, so the car was ready when we left the apartment. A real hidden gem!

RomaniaIt didn’t have AC, but the temperature in the room is decent even during the hot summer days. There is also a ventilator that you can use
Situated in a nice and safe area close to Florence (by car or by train). The parking spot is right in front of the room and you can enjoy the garden in the evening. The host was lovely

SwitzerlandWe had a great time staying at that accomodation. We couldn‘t be bothered with driving to Florence center and prefered to have a place to stay outside of the city. This room is very close (5min walk) to the train station and has a secure place to leave your car. The train takes 25min to reach Florence main station. One thing to note: In Florence, the train back to Pontassieve leaves at a train platform which is further back than the others and takes an extra 5 minutes to reach. We almost missed our train the first night because we did not know this. So just plan accordingly and you‘ll be fine :)

In a great location next to the train. You can easily go to Florence and Arezzo. The room was very clean and the hostess very polite. Additionally, the room is next to a beautiful park. Thank you Elena and Silvia.

AustraliaThe host Silvia and the location were beyond phenomenal! We couldn't recommend enough as a group of two girls backpacking together. The bar locations nearby were great, as were the restaurant options. It was fantastic having a supermarket and the train station just round the corner too. It's only a 35 min train to the centre of Florence and they run frequently. Silvia's hospitality and personality made our stay the best of our travels so far and the highlight of our trip. The room was very clean and spacious, and the garden was a beautiful place to enjoy lunch in the sun. We could not recommend the Little Room enough!

SingaporeI liked everything.
I liked that it was in a quiet place in the outskirts of Florence. Just a short 20-30min train ride away from all the hustle and bustle of downtown Florence. The room had everything inside and was amazing. I loved the environment and all the amenities that came with it. Imagine having a microwave and coffee machine in your own room. What a treat. A wonderful garden to slack in too.

Fantastic host, comfy bed, historic building just 40 mins from Firenze. Lovely little town with plenty of places to eat and enjoy. The tortoise in the garden and the wood fired grill were added bonuses.

GermanyEverything was fine and comfy.
Really enjoyed our short two nights stay! Communication with Silvia prior and during our stay via WhatsApp was excellent. Late checkin was arranged with no problem. The room offered all we needed and is tastefully decorated. It’s conveniently located to the local railway station with frequent connections to Firenze Santa Maria Novella Station (and Arezzo).

RomaniaThe view/environment was nothing special and one of the beds squeaked badly at every single move.
The place was a hidden gem! Staff was very nice and everything was clean and working properly. The parking space inside the courtyard was a big bonus. It's literally 5min. away from the train station & a huge supermarket, so you can get what you need and easily get into Florence.

Czech RepublicWe were attacked by mosquitos family :-)) at night, so maybe to install some window nets? There is a hot water regulation, but they provide with plastic plates and cups. If this is meant kind of an sustainable/environmental protection, so I don't see the point here. But no big deal, still the staff and accommodation were very nice!
Communication was really good! There is a parking spot when you travelling by car and train station to Florence is just 5 mins away by foot, supermarket also. Beautiful clean bathroom, there is a fridge and kitchen utensils for you.

United KingdomThere wasn’t anything I didn’t like.
The property was beautiful. It was clean, well equipped, good facilities and when I asked if there would be an iron, I was provided with one. The bed was comfortable. The room was larger than I thought it would be, the shower and toilet room was also fairly spacious. The shower was a good pressure and hot. The breakfast was provided in advance which was helpful so you can enjoy at your own time. Sylvia was so helpful in organising a taxi for me and responded to other requests promptly throughout my stay. The use of the garden was a bonus as it was lovely to enjoy breakfast outside in the sunshine. I felt safe, comfortable and at ease for the whole of my stay.

SwitzerlandFor light sleepers I'd suggest you bring some earplugs as we found that at night the mini fridge is a bit loud and the bed is rather creaky, but that's all!
Our little room was very charming and modern, despite being in this amazing historic building! The location is great, you can park your car, you're at the train station in literally 3 minutes from where you can get to Florence in about 15 minutes without the hassle of driving and parking in the city. The room is rather small and might get a bit hot during warmer temperatures but you have everything you need and you're not gonna be spending all day in there anyway. In the evening you can just open the windows to let the cool air in and turn on the fan. The breakfast basket and the coffee mashine was highly appreciated as well, you can even enjoy your breakfast in Sylvia's beautiful garden before heading to busy Florence. Slyvia was a great and fun host who was ready to help with anything.

AustraliaThe only things that could be improved but not necessary is we would have preferred a full AC system and possibly some plates in the apartment just to pop the breakfast foods on. Not big issues however, still an amazing stay!
It is a great location - not in central Florence so you get the beauty and quietness of a residential area and it is a 20 minute train ride into Florence, train station is less than 5 mins walk from the house. Such a cute wee accomodation with so much character. Breakfast options were varied. Silvia really made our stay, she is so attentive, friendly and always willing to help with anything if needed. Would 100% stay here again if we visit Florence again.

CanadaWe loved this hidden gem just outside of Florence! The room is located in a beautiful medieval building and was spotlessly clean with a modern bathroom and comfortable bed. Our host Silvia came to make sure we were settling in, asked what we wanted for breakfast and provided some great tips. It’s a 3 minute walk to the train station with trains leaving regularly so it was super easy to get into Florence without having to worry about traffic or parking. We would highly recommend this to anyone!

AustraliaIt was all good.
We loved the garden which we could use to sit outside. It was so easy to get to Florence, we caught the train or bus which was only a few minutes walk as was the huge supermarket. We could park right outside the door. The room had everything we needed. The host was friendly and easygoing. There was even a turtle living in the garden which was adorable. I would recommend it if you don’t want to contend with parking and the prices of accommodation in Florence…and you can say you’ve stayed in a medieval tower!
