The contact with the owner was very good. The apartment has excellent location, in the center of Assisi old town. The room itself was very clean and spacious with beatiful view. We were able to leave our baggage after check out on the reception until our departure, which was a big plus.

This beautiful B&B's location is so central at 1 minute's walk from Piazza Comune, 11 minutes from St Francis Basilica and less to the other main attractions of Assisi, yet its price is remarkably competitive. The room (No 5) is spacious, very clean and has a mini fridge, a welcoming coffee machine & a kettle with coffee pods & green tea bags provided. The bed has a mattress topper and is super comfortable and guests can regulate their desired room temperature with the internal thermostat which we lowered before sleeping. We slept very well. The only noise we woke up to was of birds singing. The shuttered window opens on to a beautiful view of olive tree tops, roof tops and stretches to the hill. The decently sized bathroom has a great rain shower. Paolo the owner is very pro active and affable. He engaged with me on whatsapp early with parking info and to query arrival time. He arrived fairly promptly with our pre arranged time of arrival to check us into the room and gave us a quick run through of the room and the check out process and we ended up chatting with him for quite a while! As we were about to self check out, we saw Paolo in the building and he gave us a tour of the 1st floor which he is renovating and which will have a beautiful open terrace. The nicely designed finished rooms look beautiful with lovely bathrooms. This B&B is of ancient masonry structure which we love, thus guests should bear in mind that it does not have a lift. We only stayed overnight, so we just carried our necessities in our back packs & left our suitcases in the car parked at the nearby Matteotti car park. We said goodbye to lovely Paolo as if to an old friend. It seems to get rarer to have a person to person contact with hosts in Italy these days with prevalent self check in & check out, so we really appreciated the time Paolo gave us!

I think stepping out of the shower onto the thin bath mat provided was slightly hazardous - very easy to slip across the tiles.

I had problems with my arrival as delayed flight caused missed train to Assisi. Was able to arrange new check-in time easily by phone/text and was met punctually outside the property. Thank you Excellent location for attending my singing course and meeting others in the Piazza Commune

In the center, you pay an honest price to have a comfortable and clean bed and bathroom, plus coffee and tea. The bed was comfortable and was a real double bed. Assisi card for free. Big shower.

We had apartment free-wifi disconnection on the first night of our stay apparently caused by heavy rain in Assisi from the day before we arrived. The owner promptly tried to solve the problem and wifi worked by noon next day. It wasn’t a big issue.

This apartment is located in the center of Assisi. Everything you need is within walking distance. The parking was little tricky but you get well informed about where to park in advance; parking spots on the street/ nearest safe parking garage. Rooms are simple, very clean and spacious. Paolo, the owner is kind and very helpful.

It's a long walk from the carpark with bags, down when you arrive is ok but returning to the car is uphill on cobbled paths. Maybe I'm picky, but I always feel a bit miffed when places leave one coffee pod each, too bad if you wanted a second one. The room was as described but it's always nice to be surprised with something extra, which this place didn't do. Was a good place to stay though.

Contact with the manager was primarily through booking.com, and so we missed contact with him as we arrived in town. We were able to meet up within a few minutes, though, and got settled in.

The "hotel" is in a remodeled 18th century building, updated nicely and with all modern conveniences. There's hardly a better example of a medieval/Renaissance town than Assissi, and the Camere Colocci is off a narrow, medieval street, quiet and pleasant. Excellent views out the windows, good sense of security and safety, and close to the plaza where everything else is--shops, restaurants, and sights from the Roman period onward.
