How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewClose location to Florence, also Pisa is not far away. To Florence a shuttle is provided (4.5€/p round tour), even dogs are allowed in the bus with a muzzle. Very friendly staff, good restaurant with reasonable prices and a variation of foods for everyone. The tent provides a comfortable stay for a couple of nights. With well working aircon, mattresses are good, pillows are a personal preference. A small built-in closet, a bathroom with shower (instant very hot water), mirror and hairdryer, a small porch with table and bench. As located in the woods also hot temperatures are bearable. Pools are rather for children but ok for cooling off though. Dogs are allowed and welcomed (extra cleaning fee at the end of your stay is 30€), bins are all over the place to get rid of any kind of waste. If you take a small cooling box with you, the tent becomes an even better option for a couple of days.
The cleaning needs to be improved as there had been several hair of not our own and towels with stains. The parking lots are very tight and packed so it depends a bit on luck and parking skills to fit into your spot. (Dedicated to your bungalow/ tent number you can not chose). The pools are crowded with children not being supervised or watched by the guard- it's impossible to just even sit down at a corner to cool off yourself or just your feet without being splashed, run over or hit by children running around in the pool. Not talking about the special children pool with slides etc... Don't chose chairs close to the pool as your stuff will get wet, too, for mentioned reasons.

Verified reviewAmazing camping with private parking close to the house, there is 2 pool which are great opportunitiy to chill! There is a market in the camping and a restaurant both of them are very usefull. Regarding the transport to Firenze is very easy to get to the city center by bus ( max 12min walk the bus stop) and the camping also offering a shutle to the city! Very authentic and beautifull place!!

Verified reviewLocation within woodland with excellent pools that the kids loved. Great shuttle bus to Florence (although you still have a 20min into Florence)
There are two sites with very similar names (making it confusing to taxi’s.) Give these sites different names to prevent future problems. The cabins bathroom is very small and the facilities within are in poor condition. e.g. lights not working, bunk bed in disrepair, front door difficult to lock. Also this site is perched on a steep incline so would not be suitable for all.

Verified reviewStaying at this campsite in Florence was a completely new experience for us, and to our surprise, it turned out to be incredibly pleasant and enjoyable. We actually wished we could have stayed longer and are already looking forward to coming back. The entire place is very well organized. Each accommodation unit has its own parking space conveniently located nearby, which we found very practical. For visiting the city, there is a bus that departs directly from the campsite roughly every half hour, making it very easy to reach the center of Florence without any hassle. The campsite also offers excellent facilities, including swimming pools, a bar, and a restaurant, as well as playgrounds for children — making it a wonderful choice for families too. Overall, it’s a well-rounded, comfortable, and convenient option for anyone visiting Florence — whether as a couple, family, or group of friends. Highly recommended!

It was a long walk from the nearest bus station in Bottai and there was no walking path so you had to use the road. This location is best if you have a personal vehicle. The walk from the bottom of the camp to the upper rooms was pretty long and steep.

Verified reviewPerfect location — just what I needed, especially with easy bus access to Florence! The reception staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The property has everything you could possibly need for a great holiday: a well-stocked supermarket, a restaurant, and a swimming pool. It was ideal for me!
The only thing I missed was a small table with chairs outside the bungalow — it would have been lovely to sit there and enjoy the surroundings.
