We had the nicest stay! The location is perfect to explore the city by foot, only a 3 minute walk to the cathedral. The place itself is clean, bright and spacious! But the best part was the host! Super friendly and uncomplicated communication via booking.com and whatsapp as soon as we arrived. he also gave us the best reccommendations for restaurants and markets. Can only 10/10 reccomend this accommodation. Would go there every time when in Palermo.

The accommodation was truly exceptional. Mirko welcomed us with excellent tips for trips and restaurants that we could visit. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The best thing about accommodation is its location. We had everything a short walk away. You can't miss breakfast at Fabio's when visiting. ❤️ The people in Palermo are amazing.

Keys were a little finicky for the outer door and entry to the main area.

Canceddi Rooms was sort of Airbnb in that the host is not on site. There are three rooms, different guests, but each door locks so no issue. This is up 2 flights of stairs, so you do need to be spry to stay here. The location is very close to the fish market so there's lots of good food nearby but it's a 20-minute walk from there to the downtown sights. I preferred that There is a well-equipped kitchen with a coffee machine, if you wanted you could do some light cooking. There is a comfortable couch and a very large dining room table. Mirko was the host; he doesn't live there so you need to either be accurate as to your arrival time or phone him. He gave us some wonderful tips on where to eat and was willing to arrange reservations as needed. The bed was comfortable, the lighting and outlets convenient, and a very nice bathroom. In all the rooms there is space to stash luggage and hang clothes.

Laura and Mirko are the most kind hosts! Communication went smoothly via WhatsApp. They welcomed us late in the evening and helped us find a parking spot. The room was spotless and fresh. There was free drinking water from the tap. Location is 10/10!! Would recommend!

The room was very clean and the air con was excellent. Looked just like the pictures, very spacious. The shower was great and also left us shampoos and a good hairdryer to use. The kitchen had water and coffee as well as breakfast available too. The host was lovely, leaving us plenty recommendations for food and car hire. Also allowed us to check in early which was great. Very good location on a nice quiet street in the centre.

Nothing about the apartment but some neighbourhoods don't seem safe inside Palermo. As 2 girls going out in the night and returning to the apartment was scary.

I think because the main hosts were not available when we checked in (and to be fair this is probably also our fault because our italian is not great!), we were left a little unclear on some things like breakfast which we weren't sure was included or not (it wasn't mentioned when booked but some other reviews did mention getting breakfast) and also we weren't aware of the city tax which we didn't leave before we left and had to sort out afterwards. However this is a minor thing and as I said probably just as much our fault for perhaps misunderstanding italian!

The location of the rooms was excellent, a short walk to the cathedral and easy walking distance to other sights in Palermo, but in a quiet street. The room was large and comfy with everything we needed for our stay. We never met the hosts in person but they were communicative in advance, suggesting a good place to park our hire care, and helping us fathom out the ztl process after we accidentally drove through it! They also left a map of the city with their recommendations of where to eat etc which was really handy and the suggestions we tried were spot on.

The property is centrally located in Palermo, perfect to visit the city as everything is a short walk away; The room was perfect, recently renovated, super clean and fresh, we really felt home. Mirko, the owner, is truly special, he genuinely cares about its guests and puts his heart into his business. Special kudos go to him as he truly improved our stay in Palermo with his recommendations, his availability and humor, making it unique. In the end, we felt like we made a new friend. I can’t recommend more to stay at Canceddi, look to further to stay in beautiful Palermo.

A lovely welcome from our host Mirko who had great suggestions for what we could see and do in Palermo. A beautifully designed and furnished room, totally quiet despite being in a bustling area near the cathedral, the main pedestrian area and a wonderful market. A great cafe in the small neighbourhood square nearby- perfect for coffee.

We enjoyed our stay and recomend it for several reasons: 1. We had a large bedroom and bathroom, all for a reasonable price! 2. Close to the Main Street and several of tourist attractions. 3. Comfortable and large bed 4. The rooms (including the bed) was clean and tidy 5. Quiet apartment building with good sound isolation. 6. A powerful air conditioner 7. The host was excellent and helped us with many different things. He had good English skills, was easily available and gave plenty of advice about places to see and visit in Palermo/Sicily.

The description of the accommodation was not as expected, three bedrooms with shared kitchen/dining room. This was not our understanding ahead of staying, the others were quiet and respectful but it is more akin to a shared Airbnb Flat. While there was coffee and snacks available but no apparent breakfast as advertised.

The apartment has three private bedrooms (with private bathrooms) and shared kitchen and dinkng area (it was not specified in the description when we booked, and ee were a bit surprised once we saw other people entering the apartment. It would be good if this can be clearly stated, so the guests know what to expect. There is also a camera placed in the kitchen, facing the dining area, which we did not exactly understand what for. Other than that, everything was great.

The apartment overall was very well equipped and tidy. Very convenient location, within walking distance to some of the city’s landmarks and main street. The host and his girlfriend were very attentive and willing to help, but we stayed only one day (two nights) and tried to explore as much as possible on our own.

Hosts were great and very helpful in every way. We were able to organize check in an hour prior to our arrival and they held our bags on check out so we could enjoy our last day. The place was spotless and rooms were large. Location was perfect!
