I liked the facilities. It was very clean and had a decent size bathroom. Great location as it was right in the centre of the city with nearby public transport and restaurants

There was a bar nearby that played music until 2am every day which made sleeping difficult

The location is perfect. It is in the middle of everything. You can go everywhere. And the furniture is new in the room. Everything was clean and flawless. 10/10

Second bin would be better in the room. One was in the bathroom.

We did not like our stay at the so-called “Boutique Hotel Carlo Felice” at all and we advise against a visit. 1. the “hotel” is effectively an Airbnb, as there is no manned reception. This leads to unbearable, excessive communication, which first supposedly revolves around the arrival time, but later increasingly insistently demands an online check-in, without which you ultimately cannot get into the room. While Booking even warns you not to transmit personal data elsewhere, this is exactly what you have to do. 2. the code you receive after online check-in does not work reliably, so you spend a lot of time with the entrance door and the room door. 3. we love city hotels but our room here was very noisy. The street noise and the noise from the nearby bars continues late into the night. In addition, the room door is not well insulated, so that the noise from the stairwell is also very audible. And last but not least, the air conditioning is also loud. 4. as the gap under the room door is about 1 cm high, you have to stuff towels underneath so that the room is not brightly lit by the stairwell. 5. the air conditioning only seems to understand 2 settings: ice cold (regardless of the set temperature) or off. So you have to decide whether you want to sweat or freeze - and be annoyed by the noise. In short: we were fortunately only here for one night and are now leaving the “hotel” almost sleepless and exhausted and will certainly not be returning.

Great position very clean and modern

The hotel is in the perfect location, very central to everything and a short walk from the train station. The room was nice and clean.

Perfectly located and extremely comfortable/beautiful. We had a lovely one night here as a stop over before we headed to our next destination! Highly recommend, this hotel is in the heart of Cagliari and we had a lovely night in this hotel!

No complaints! We loved it here

We had two rooms, one single room for my sister and one double room for myself and my husband. The double room was very large, especially for a European hotel. The room was bright and light and modern. The bathroom was spacious and new appliances. The location was good, parking wasn’t too difficult of a situation which was nice. It’s very central, near the historical centre, the best restaurants and shops!

The AC was not super strong. My sisters room, which was next to us but it was north facing, was always very cool and comfortable. It never got overly warm and the temperature was good. Our room was east facing, so the room never really got cool. The sun was shining into the room 3/4 of the day and so the room was always hot, especially if you use any hot tools like a blow dryer or curling iron, it would warm the room up even more. We did flag this with the receptionist but she looked at us like we were crazy and didn’t offer a solution, like a fan or allowing us to adjust the thermostat. It wasn’t a deal breaker but if you run hot I would avoid. Depending on the room you get though you may be perfectly fine and have no issues! It’s also very noisy. I would say the reviews we read cautioned about the noise and AC, and all of them were extremely accurate. The noise would probably bother some as there’s bars, crowds, screaming, honks until 2 am. And street cleaning at 6 am. We managed to use white noise to drown it out and my sister can sleep through anything. So again, depending on the type of person you are this may bother you a little.

Location. Easy parking. Clean

Beautifully clean, rooms not very large but well appointed, good A/C and very comfortable. Staff were excellent throughout. Location is perfect for Cagliari at the end of a street full of bars and restaurants with a beautiful view of the square and fortifications.
