I liked everything!!!!!

The room had a fantastic view of the cathedral. I loved sitting on the balcony and watching the birds and people down below. The bed was comfortable and the room was perfect! The bar of chocolate was a nice treat and the breakfast was plentiful!

The shower could be more powerful. Parking is on street, we had no problems, but just be aware the street may get busy if there is a big event at the church (wedding, funeral etc)

Really comfortable room, brilliant location with balcony overlooking church. For check-in we met our host at their chocolate shop across the street. We were invited to free choclate tasting of their own chocolate brand. The host spoke very good English and was kind enough to help translate to speak with a garage about a problem with our car. The apartment was clean, well furnished and a short walk to town centre/sights.

Fantastic location and the view - could not fault the entire service including the tour and information for an amazing collection of the Modica chocolate. Would stay again without any hesitation.

Clean and personal rooms with lovely colours. View was staright to church stairs from the balcony. Church bells woke us up at eight but went quiet after 30 sec so no problem:)

The rooms are not suitable for heavy or old people with a lot of luggage, since the steps to the rooms are narrow and steep.

The room has a balcony opposite il duomo san Giorgio and the view is fabolous. The interior is delicate and the bed is comfortable.

Lovely room with a balcony looking out onto the Duomo di San Giorgio in Modica. It is centrally located in the upper town with good access to restaurants, cafes and shops. The bus station is also close by, about 5 minutes' walk from the room. The staff were welcoming, the breakfast was excellent and the view from the room was fantastic. Would strongly recommend.

The location was next to the St Giorgius Cathedral and had stunning views. The balcony was wonderful. our host, Valentina, came to greet us after hours. The breakfast at the Bar del Duomo was the best we had in Sicily.

The rooms could have been much better lit - it was so dark in spaces .

The staff was kind and helpful. The location was beautiful. But you need energy to walk up and down the stairs unless you have a car .

There are no staff as such to help with any queries. The staff at the Sabadi chocolate shop (who own the rooms?) could not really help, maybe their English wasn't good. A printed sheet giving information on taxis etc and a map in the room would be helpful. We booked a triple room but it was too small for 3 people (there were 2 of us wanting 2 separate beds). Also, I worried about what would happen if there was a fire. There is a single narrow staircase, no fire escape or extinguishers visible.

Very petite but nicely decorated and furnished room on the top floor, over looking the cathedral square. Spotlessly clean. Good breakfast, which is provided by Cafe di Duomo; the staff at the cafe were very friendly and helpful. The location is nice, with good views from the small balcony. The cathedral bells don't ring through the night and they only start again at 8am in case you are worried about being disturbed!

Being charged 25 euro for being 35 min late, immediately upon our arrival, when such delay was not our fault but a result of rough seas and ferry delays, was an unpleasant welcome. Irrespective of the rules and policies the receptionist kept mentioning, a bit of compassion and understanding would have gone a long way. Quite a pity because even though the room was overall okay, the welcome we got was far from it. Unfortunately we will not be returning. The room was cold even though we left the room heater on all night, water pressure in the bathroom was very low and the bath towels smelt mouldy and damp. I
