The quality of the breakfast could be better

Clean and comfortable apartment nicely decorated with a cozy atmosphere. The location was really good close to everything. The girl from the reception was extremely polite and helpful

The only drawback was breakfast in the other building.

The apartment is in a perfect location, close to everything in the heart of the old town. The room was spacious and clean. The host Letitia was very helpful though the owners must think about hiring more people to help the staff who we saw working really hard both cleaning the rooms and catering breakfast.

The breakfast

Room was very nice with a comfortable bed. Breakfast only for Italians, but when in Rome. The you girl Letizia was amazing so big gold star for her. Overall very good 😊

Parking was a bit stressful, especially on a Sunday night so might be worth paying for a parking spot in one of the car parks rather than driving round trying on find on street parking.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Balmes - it was perfectly located to explore Lecce and the surrounding beaches for 3 days! Super easy check in & check out and amazing breakfast with fabulous views at the sister hotel every morning.

The apartment was not cosy at all - uncomfortable beds (the single ones like in soldiers campaign), and not very clean, especially the towels. 7 minutes walk from breakfast on a roof : it was standard and ok, but the terrase had zero view and if I knew I would prefer to skip it and go to some nice place with good italian coffee near the apart

The location is very central in Jewish getto, good to walk through the city. The apart is inside a little palazzo, nice and interesting to get in and see traces of old reliefs and stones.

It was all good.

The room was very spacious and comfortable and the property was in a good location. Breakfast was included, just a 5 minute walk away in a sister hotel. Breakfast was definitely a highlight, eaten on the roof with a great view. We were made very welcome by the staff.

Nothing major- just feel doors to rooms need a little paint where scuffed as makes it looks tatty. Also locks on doors and windows are loose in some places- need secure fixings

We were upgraded (for free via booking) to a room with a patio, but I would not say it was a patio. If I had paid for the upgraded room with patio, I would have been disappointed. The door to outside led out to the top of some stairs (accessible also by other guests), which had water dripping down from the resident above (which overtime had created a damp green moss to grow). The airconditioning was so loud it woke us up when it switched itself off and on. When the bedroom lights were on, they flickered when the airco switched itself on (it regulated itself by turning off and on). Small details which didn’t affect our stay but were present in the room: light stains on the extra bed/ sofa, marks on the wall and brown damp marks on part of the wall where water has come through from somewhere.

Location was perfect. Parking was very easy on via adua. Room was simple/ basic but very clean. Really appreciated the bottled water in the mini fridge and the shower gel etc in the bathroom. Staff were lovely and the cleaning was done well. The public area (downstairs and corridor to our room) was very nicely decorated and very clean.

a desk and chair in the room would've been nice for writing postcards. otherwise, with historical vaulted stone ceilings, the room ( a two-room suite) was lovely and included ultra-modern design fittings in the bathroom, with stark white walls throughout.

they gave me a triple for a single person. because there were no other guests on my ground floor, i had the sole use of the private patio which was a big bonus. the Old Town location was charming and near the tour bus pick-up area. nearby old bookshops and superb sidewalk cafe/restaurants were also very good. although there were no staff on site except for clearners and breakfast girls, the first day the management staff of two showed up to confirm and helped me find a place to buy a mobile phone. all this with my very limited italian made my stay memorable and comfortable. i loved the quiet!

There was equipment for making coffee or tea, but no coffee or tea.

Breakfast wasn't included but there are great cafes a short walk away. The location is in the heart of the old city, but very quiet.
