The hosts were lovely and the view is amazing.

Emanuela was an amazing host. She takes great care of the apartments and you see how much effort she puts in. She was also very helpful with some recommendations how to get around and where to go. The balcony view was amazing!

As mentioned already the walk to the city is something you need to be aware of. There are a lot of steps which can be quite hard if you are not so sporty.

The uphill walk from the beach, it is quite steep but good to be in-between the beach and the town.

The view and the room were great. Emanuela is so sweet and extremely helpful whenever we needed anything. Highly recommend the breakfast at the terrace—everything was fantastic.

The landlady is nice and helpful. The view is quite amazing and there’s a little terrace to enjoy it, although not fully separated terrace.

The room (largest room of the two) was a bit like stepping into a cave: deep, dark, with old uncomfortable beds, mouldy smell in the bathroom and largely used for various storage.

Very good location, super clean apartment, Emanuela was always there and she cleaned our room every day (hotel style). She was very helpful with everything we needed. We felt like home.

This is an absolutely lovely B&B! The location is perfect and Emanuela is so helpful, warm, and friendly.

The beds have sort of flimsy mattresses, but the room was perfectly comfortable otherwise.

Emanuela and Bernard are such warm and wonderful people! The location is perfect as it is right between the city center and the beach and very close to the cable car. The room was very clean and breakfast was also delicious. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay!

We absolutely loved our stay in Taormina. The apartment was clean, tidy, and wonderfully cool thanks to the strong air conditioning—perfect after a day in the sun. The peaceful garden setting offered a quiet escape from the busy streets above, and there was plenty of space to unpack and stay organised, from the roomy bathroom and cupboard to the thoughtful layout of the living area. Breakfast each morning, overlooking the sea, was a highlight—simple, fresh, and relaxing. Parking was also a breeze, with free spots available right next to the football stadium. Emanuela was an incredible host, always bringing fresh water and keeping things tidy. It truly felt like a serene little retreat.

There are three sets of stairs to reach the main part of Taormina. It’s something to keep in mind for anyone with mobility issues or who may find steep climbs challenging.

The bedroom had a window and small terrace with sea view and it was half way between the town and the sea. No light coming in the room at night and no sound. The host was very accommodating and friendly and gave us good tips.

We loved the outdoor patio and the view. Emmanuela was very attentive and made us very comfortable. The location suited us perfectly being a close walk to all the major sites.

For us, really nothing. If you are driving, parking could be an issue and if you’re North American, driving there can be a bit nerve wracking. But we are Canadians and actually found it not too difficult at all. Learn to drive like the locals. If that doesn’t work, take a cab, then walk. Everything is close by! Once parked, we walked everywhere. Wonderful!

Loved our stay in La Via del Mare in Taormina. Emanuela, our host, made us feel comfortable as soon as we arrived. She was helpful with suggestions, and she served us a fabulous breakfast every morning on the terrace, which overlooked a stunning view. The location of the apartment is between the town centre and the beach which was very handy for us. The apartment was clean and a comfortable size with a kitchenette that suited our requirements. I would not hesitate to recommend this delightful accommodation.

We loved our stay! Our room was cosy, nicely decorated, and from the balcony we had the most stunning view of both the sea and the mountain! The room was spotless and what made our stay truly special was our host, Emanuela. She was so warm, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay! She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable!

We were able to park for free near the room and the host was very gracious and helpful. Her breakfasts were terrific and you could feel the desire for her to make us feel very welcomed!

The view was amazing. Emanuela the host was so kind and welcoming and helpful. The apartment is placed in a strategic point to reach both isola Bella and Taormina town centre by foot, without having to pay the expensive 6€ (10€ return) cable car ticket. Get ready to use your legs!

Emanuela was a great host; she was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. There is a fantastic view from the terrace. The B&B is a ten minute walk from Taormina town - uphill.

Some of the roads around Taormina are pretty challenging to drive. B&B is near to the top of the cable car. Street parking is possible nearby.

Wonderful place to stay for our time in Taormina! We really appreciated all the extra effort that Emanuela put in to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible, from providing delicious breakfast on the balcony to offering us extra towels for a day trip. If we’re back in Sicily, we would definitely return!

Beautiful view. Our host, Emanuele, was wonderful. Breakfast served on our private terrace, accommodating to dietary needs. She helped with all reservations and had great recommendations inside and outside of town. We enjoyed our stay immensely, even taking in a local futbol match at the stadium nearby.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and couldn't do enough for us. The room was to a high standard and clean We had good recommendations from the hosts of where to visit and dine. It's in a nice location with quick connections to the beach and town. The photos reflect the room and views. I would stay again and for longer, great to de-stress and unwind.
