Our stay in Scala was our favorite part of our honeymoon. The property was quiet, scenic, and a short walk to multiple restaurants, grocery market, cafe, and tabacchi, most of which are situated around the town piazza just down the road. The host Luigi was very communicative and helpful. All the residents of Scala that we met were welcoming and personable. We enjoyed experiencing the daily rhythm of the small community, away from the tourist crowds, but just a short bus ride away from Amalfi and Ravello. The property itself was spotless and very comfortable, with everything we needed to have a peaceful and stress free stay. My husband is a notoriously finicky sleeper when traveling, but slept through the night the whole time because the accommodation was so quiet and comfortable. Thank you Casa Mercurio!

Such a great apartment with an excellent view of Ravello! Just sit on your balcony and enjoy your prosecco while watching the Ravello. Apartment is well equipped and very clean. You can find what ever you need; a washing machine, iron, all the kitchen and bathroom amenities. So easy to reach by public transport from/to Amalfi, bus station is just steps away. There is a tobacco shop and a bar in walking distance. You will have the best host who will help you to have best stay in Amalfi coast. Thanks Luigi for every recommendation and helps for scooter rentals ! He is the best !

Upper appartment is SUPER noisy. You will hear evey car passing by and big vehicles make home shaking like during the earthquake. But you'll be too tired walking and traveling Amalfi coast to notice it too much xD

The bed was a little soft because it was a sofa bed but this is a minor quibble. The buses to Ravello were infrequent and did not always follow the schedule.

Luigi was very solicitous and had great suggestions for restaurants and cafes. The Scala location was gorgeous and the room was tastefully decorated. I loved the terrace overlooking Ravello and spent time there. My husband was thrilled that there was a washing machine and he could leave Scala with clean clothes. The room was equipped with a stove and I could make tea. I loved how non-touristic Scala was.

The apt was very well equipped , we loved the balcony overlooking the valley and Ravello across the way. Scala is a lovely quiet village, away from the hectic amalfi. Luigi was very helpful regarding recommendations for restaurants, shopping etc.

It is not related with the accomodation. It is realted with the city transportation ...Inform the host the time that you should arrive and he will give the instrctions to deal with transportation system. Do not trust in Google Maps

Sorry , but booking does not have stars enough to rate Casa Mercurio. The place is great and renovatated and the host , Luigi is an exceptional host. He gave all the tips to enjoy the place, the good spots at Amalfi and to deal with the local transportation system. If you book Casa Mercurio reserve one night to be at the balcony at the 2nd floor with a Prosecco and eating the mucarela sold at the store in front .. You will have a great view and feel the Amalfi cost atmosphere.

The roof is a bit low but it’s to be expected for an attic.

All the facilities worked perfectly well and there was plenty available. The host was amazing during the entirety of the stay, flexible with times, helpful with any doubts we had and provided plenty of recommendations for restaurants or beaches. Having him was a massive help.

Everything was perfect.

Amazing duplex apartment with amazing views in Scala. Very close to Ravello, our favourite town on the Amalfi coast. The host Luigi is a legend - he was our personal concierge throughout the stay, helping us with parking, restaurant bookings (even when most were fully booked weeks in advance!) boat rentals and every minor request. Very rare and unique experience in this part of Italy, cannot recommend highly enough and our only regret is we didn't stay longer!
