It is not the quietest place possible as there are a lot of other holiday homes in the direct neighborhood. But it's not loud or anything. We really enjoyed our stay :)

This house is beautiful and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen offers everything you need. The garden is spacious and green and the terrace is lovely. There is a wonderful beach only 2 minutes away. We enjoyed staying here very much.

The niciest ever and friendliest 3 generation family welcomed us when we came to the place. The eldest person, Elio speaks good French and comminication with Oriana was in English. They spend a lot of time with us recommending us routes and places to eat. It was nice to get a bottle of wine as welcoming gift. The better house so well kept you can't even imagine. It is very quiet place and big territory coverd by grass, ideal for rest in the yard with all facilities needed. The kitchen has everything for cooking. So, I warmly recommend the place for your stay.

Calabernado is a really small town. If you want to go to a supermarket or cafe you definitely need a car.

The house is perfect for two people. It has a really nice and comfortable terasse and garden. The garden shower even has warm water. There is a nice beach close by. Sightseeing points like Noto or Syrakia are easy to reach with a car.

    Nothing at all.

We had an amazing stay at Paolo's. The accomodation was lovely. A beautiful private garden and further grounds to explore with our little girl. She particularly enjoyed visiting the chickens and cats! Paolo was an excellent host, very friendly and nice to talk to. He made us feel very welcome and gave us privacy but was on hand to help with any questions when we needed. We spoke very little Italian ourselves but mainly spoke with Paolo in French. We had our 18 month old daughter with us and the space was perfect for her. Large and safe for her to run around and explore. We had some dinners on the terrace. The bedroom was very comfortable, and Paolo equipped the single bed with a guard for our daughter so she wouldn't roll off! The kitchen was very well equipped. We cooked a lot at home; good knives, cutlery, pans etc. An extra chopping board would have been handy, but a minor detail! We were able to drive to many beaches and towns with ease, including a day trip to Syracuse (Ortigia). Early June was a perfect time to arrive as a family (not too busy and pleasant but not very hot weather). Although the sea is very close, it is mainly swimming off rocks, less than 10mins drive though is Lido di Noto which had a nice little beach. Grazie Paolo!

    No complaints!

Good online communication with the host. We arrived earlier than planned and got a very warm welcome from Elio, the father of the host, who was working in the garden. A very sympathetic man, perfectly French speaking also, who gave us a guided tour of the house & the well kept garden and also his olive tree orchard. And gave us very useful information about the trips we planned, also some welcoming sweets and a free bottle of wine and water bottles and a sample bottle of his olive oil. A nice and clean house in a very quiet place and we could swim within a short walking distance. The accomodation had a nice warm shower in the garden we could use after our swim. Good airco that cools the whole house. We had a rental car and this quiet spot was perfect to go to the touristic highlights Syracuse & Noto & Avola & Cavagrande del Cassibile & Vendicari & Ragusa a bit more away. We really liked our stay here and wished we could stay a lot longer! Highly recommended +++!

The wifi was not great: I had to use mobile data when I got frustrated. The bed pillows were not great: A bit hard and only one per person. The sofa wasn't too comfortable, it could have been better.

The location was great for our purpose and the quality of the accommodation was great. It had a private parking, private bbq, private shower in the garden. We were received by the host's father and he was a very kind and friendly man. He explained everything in full detail and passed by to see if everything was ok. Great service.

We came to Sicily for our honeymoon and we couldn't choose a better place to stay. The host was very communicative and called us before our arrival with all the details. Elio was waiting for us when we arrived and explained us everything we needed to know about the house and made sure we are comfortable. The house was superclean and comfy, it had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The garden is beautiful. We couldn't recommend this place more, you can definitely see that the owners put their whole hearts into making sure that the guests will have a wonderful time staying at their place.

The location is perfect for the quiet family vacation, but a car is highly recommended. The hosts welcomed us with fruits and wine and were very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. P.s.: Wi-Fi was also fast & stable

The pillows were a little uncomfortable and the shower was weak.

Oriana was so very kind & welcoming and so helpful throughout our stay helping us find places to eat and the local market. The garden was private and very pleasant to relax in and eat outside. The WiFi was very good which helped us when researching local walks and places of interest. Noto definitely worth a visit. We loved our walks at Noto Antica ( the old ruined town destroyed by an earthquake) we didn't see another person for 3 hours ! Syracuse & Ortigia were very interesting.
