Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumWe had an amazing time at the villa we rented! The villa exceeded all our expectations; in reality, it looked even better than in the photos. The space was incredibly spacious and comfortable, and the large garden was simply stunning. We enjoyed delicious barbecues almost every day, making our evenings truly special. The couple who travelled with us shared the same opinion about how fantastic everything was. We were also really pleased with the air conditioning in the bedrooms, which made our stay even more comfortable. The hosts, Polina & Giuseppe, were incredibly kind, very charming, and helpful. They were always ready to assist us whenever needed and even invited us over for dinner. Those were wonderful evenings filled with great food and engaging conversations. One of the highlights for me personally was the beautiful grand piano in the living room. It was such a joy to play and added a unique touch to our experience. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for an unforgettable holiday!

GermanyWe wish we could have spent weeks here instead of just days. Polina was a wonderful host and got us reservations at a local restaurant twice - she also answered all our questions right away. The views are wonderful and the house is so big you can get lost in it. It was easy to drive to the train station to get into Rome, too. We'll be back here the next time we visit Italy!

EstoniaWhen planning the trip, it was certain that we didn't want modern accommodation but rather something that would give us the opportunity to experience the true essence of Italy. Also, travelling with a group of eight people, it was important to us that each person has their own room and that the accommodation is spacious enough for people to have the option to rest privately if needed. Casa Rinaldi fulfilled all our desires and more. It is worth mentioning that the owners of the accommodation are extremely pleasant and helpful, and it was their hospitality that provided us with an abundance of positive emotions. The entire combination is what will be remembered for a long time.

BulgariaWhen we arrived, we received a very warm and kind welcome by Giuseppe and Polina who during our entire visit cared about all our needs and our pleasure. The hosts had organized for us fabulous dinner in their cozy home, Giuseppe prepared our incredible dinner and together, with their whole family, we enjoyed a great evening with some very pleasurable conversations and a lot of laugh. The house itself is situated on a very beautiful hill with mesmerizing views in all directions. It offers cozy solitude and romantic ambiance in proximity to the crowded and noisy atmosphere of Rome. The house is huge and spacious, it offers everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The interior is really authentic and beautiful and every single member of our family enjoyed it to the fullest. We would certainly visit this place again because there we feel excellent and we found two new great friends.

ItalyWhile the villa is very nice, it can use some repair and deep cleaning. The dishwasher was covered in mold when we arrived, and half of the inside wheels are missing so it was practically unusable. Some windows, doors and shutters don't open/close very well as it had warped with age. Some of the radiators were not working when we arrived so the house was quite cold for a couple of days, and we had to hang around while people came to fix them. Considering the price we paid, it should have been carefree, as that is what people want on their vacation.
The villa is very spacious and has a wonderful view. The two living rooms and the sun room was also nice to have and the grand piano was a bonus as we had a few musicians among us. The owners are very nice and was accommodating. We appreciated very much the private chef recommendation by Polina. While Lazio is not really known for wine, we enjoyed visiting the Santa Lucia winery nearby and the closeness to Rome made it easy for us to get there and back.
